One last thing: It's very important to remember, for the most part, that the people who rate and comment are usually the people who's played it through. This usually means that the people liked it enough to rate it high, and comment favorably. Some people try to criticize, but most of the time, the critics get lumped in with the people who expect to be spoon-fed, and chased away. So the game never gets improved, because no-one's willing to give suggestions. Also, if there's 100 people saying the game is too hard for every 1 saying "no, it's not" and/or "suck it up", then you might have a difficulty problem. While games are easier than they were in the older days, people are at various skill levels. I appreciate games trying to give people a challenge, but this can end up going too far without the player even realizing it.

Likewise, a complaint of clones can also be valid, and even worth a 1/5, in some cases, such as if the game was the exact same as a previous game, just with different icons or whatever. Basically, a clone in the "blatantly ripped off" sense. One that shares the same genre isn't, though.
And again, this is situational, but more common. "Too hard" is also a valid complaint. If you've got a game that requires pixel perfect jumping (When the game's not supposed to be like that. If you're playing a game like IWBTG, this complaint becomes invalid), or your character needs to level in a specific way that the game gives no inkling to whatsoever, or else the enemies will curb-stomp you without fail, now that's a valid complaint of "too hard".

Needs menu button 1/5.
In all seriousness, though, this is a statement game done right. It presents the author's opinion in an interesting way, bringing up a lot of the silly things people complain about. However, it's important to remember that a statement game is exactly that, and people will disagree with it. And while I don't suggest ranting and raving, swearing at the game and it's supporters, I do encourage people with alternate opinions to bring up a civil discussion. This goes the other way around, as well, as supporters of the game shouldn't bash people who disagree with it, rather, they should debate the points they bring up.
For example, Lag can be a legitimate complaint, if it's extreme. The maze thing was just silly, and, while not warranting a 1/5, would definitely be worth a complaint, if it was like that on all but the most top end computers.

Er, ignore that bit. Thought comments appeared from the top, so I was going to try and post it in reverse order to make it make sense.

"People bitch about how they have to pay kreds to play certain games, and rate it lower, because of the fact that even game developers have to eat."
--
"I think people should just stop complaining and enjoy the freeware that other people are putting out for the public to play, for FREE."
Wow, amazing! Even in such a short comment, the author manages to make a glaring contradiction just to condemn freedom of speech and diversity of opinion. Unbelievable.

Kinda awesome game. Love how the dev makes fun of all the dumb comments. The comments the games shows are really hilarious. (Except that I do believe demo games suck. Oh, and so does paying for Flash games.) I would wish for some more control over the character and more actual gameplay, but other than that, it's cool. 4/5

The developer of this game is obviously a stuck-up asshole who mocks his targeted audience and expects it to be funny. It's not funny at all, it is in fact the opposite of funny. Mocking the people who play your games (and in Kreds' case pay for them) is not a good way to make jokes or get that oh-so-important 5 stars. I rated this game one star honestly and that is the rating it deserves.

So this game does make a statement and for many circumstances it is true, BUT in defense of the community: kreds do kinda ruin things developers may need to eat but I don't think that half the community has a steady income and a credit card... remember the audience that you have brought to the sight.
Some developers do add in suggestive themes that will affect the ratings, but now that we have learned I hope we can all move on
when some people bomb a game sometimes their comment does have some credibility for why they bombed it...but many times it is irrational
some badges do seem a bit out of place but nobodies perfect so its bound to happen
all in all the site is still awesome the game is amusing and both the gamers AND the developers need to learn to respect each other
