I do have to agree with everyone else that this game is too hard. Can't even get past level 1 because arrow towers, even upgraded like crazy, don't do enough damage, and cannon towers attack way too slowly. 2/5

Ok all towers now have user-decided targetting modes: auto (targets easiest to kill, closest, furthest, weakest and strongest.

Derringer came up with the plan for the AI, it's pretty sweet I think. With the bug you mention the towers are basically going to attack the easiest kill so I'm guessing the lower ones were the best option. The path the monsters are on and the distance from the tower aren't factors.
I've also made some more tweaks to help it run faster.

nah found another AI bug :P at the end of the road of chapter 3 the bottom line geting killed but the upper line running andmged (both grunts)

Ok. Towers now automatically choose the monster they are capable of killing in the least shots and they stay targetted until that monster's out of range.

Amazing game! These graphics really make me feel like I'm playing the older Warcraft games.
I can't wait until you get the targeting system going. Right now I can only get halfway through the 3rd level.

Definitely need to change the tower AI to attack monsters with weaknesses to that specific tower. Having 5-7 fully upgraded arrow towers wailing on trolls while grunts stroll by without getting hit just ruins the entire game.

Thanks CarlR and karilowns! Today I'm launching a second version that'll let people test out different values for the monster hitpoints, damage etc so we can sort out the last problems.
