an addition to my engineer tip, you get 60X6 or 7 valor par unit which more then pays itself off, when you sell the unit and rebuy, you get a brand new lvl 1 guy to lvl up, may take a long time, but 2 guys can be maxed out in about 4 hours, time consuming you may think, but left on while you sleep, school or work

heres a tip to get powerful repairmen, have 2 or more and have enemy attacking the wall, as long as they repair faster then it gets damaged, you'll be fine, leave it while you play something else, this style has gotten my 4 to lvl 7 so far, make sure you do this on last wave of the day. +rate+this+up+

Heres an easy way to get a ton of money...the very first time you see a spawner, let it take down a wall, then just kill the bugs that come out...about 20 minutes or so, just move all your troops, with every rocket launcher you have, to the blown upwaall, and lots of money for you...have fun..

Nice game, with a few obvious exploits, such as the one to level the engineers to max early on. Fairly easy to play, the shortcuts help a lot. The user interface is easy to learn and use, so a + for that. More customization and upgrade options would give this game a lot of replay value, though. Such as a couple of different branches for each unit - damage, more damage/scatter shots, versus: shooting speed, movement speed, range, reload, etc. 5/5, with hopes for a sequel or an updated version :)

I would rate 5 stars, but this game needs a fast-forward button. 4/5 and no offence to people who think this game is THE game

Mortars need to either fire faster or hit a larger area, as well as to be able to hit enemies right against the wall, else they're totally useless in comparison to the heavy infantry. Almost four times as expensive as a Heavy Infantry, yet less than twice as effective.... Something's wrong with that. At least the machineguns hit fliers throughout the base and beyond, so their effectiveness is, well, effective.
Other than that, though, it's a good game. And for the person stating that they're waiting for pickup in 40 days; Most likely they're holding out as bait for a tactical advantage in a greater war against the Bugs.

Perhaps change the description from ( Carries a large supply ) to ( carries a fully INFINITE supply and hope your troops shoot the right thing! ) may be more appropriate.

for future version: if we could make little outposts around the place and if we fought at some pre-made bases in a challenge mode this game whould be even better a great strategy for free repairs:fight the map how u like, then (u need multiple engineers) leave one enemy at a wall and have 1 engineer there (or more if u have enough) and have some other engineers repair other walls entirely, then after the other walls are at 100% send all engineers to the wall with the one bug,let them repair a little bit (till it flashes between 99 and 100%) then send gunners to that wall and kill bug and you jsut got a free repair :D

If you are about to write a comment on this game containing the words "Starship" and "Troopers", please don't. It has been said before, trust me. And if you don't trust me go back and read through 300 posts of starship Troopery. Besides, only someone living in a cave in Afghanistan would NOT notice this is based on Starship troopers, so why does everyone consider it a witty remark to blurt out "Starship Troopers"??
(Yes, I'm bored, waiting for my engineers to max out.. :-D )
