Playing as the Fire City, I cannot build the Fire Spirits...everything is at Lvl 9, and when I enter a number to produce the Que stays empty...?

I beat it in 96 days... Everything was completely upgraded except attack and defense techs. 447 archers... 400 some shield dudes... 400 some long swordsmen 167 eagle men and 21 siege wagons. I focused for three weeks on strictly my economy and remember if you don't have enough people working then your production will go down. Don't have negative population. Archers saved my ass in the beginning because I massed produced them along with a few long swords men as meat shields. After they lost the second time while attacking me I sent an army to take over one of their turfs, they never tried to take it back. Good luck, message me if you need help.

This game could be a lot of fun as a turn-based strategy game with the ability to save the game. As it is, not so much.

yeah!!!!! i won in 85 weeks! here's a tip: if your army becomes stronger or almost stronger than yours, he won't attack or build up troops. so make your army with about 5k longswords, 3k shields, 1k archers, 1.5k cavalry, 1.5k eagles, 0.5k catapultes. upgrade all your tech 2 max, and right before you go, upgrade wall to 9. leave 500 longswords behind, cuz he'll attack after u send out your troops since he thinks your weak. but he doesn't leave many troops behind. continue using the power up(btw go as the fire peoples) and you will win!!! rate this up so others can see

For some reason, my game started at a really fast speed, then all of a sudden slowed down to a crawl. Now I'm waiting 5 minutes for civilian housing to be built. What happened?

This game seems like it has a ton of potential, but it strikes me as being in the playtest stage. I can't say it wasn't fun, because I kept playing it. I liked how easy it was to build up resource pools, and the rapid pace of the game was unexpected and greatly appreciated (I was expecting long turn-based sessions). Unfortunately, it just gets OLD, and tiresome relatively early. "Well, I just built these buildings, which I need to level up, in order to buy this building, in order to get this guy, before developing these other buildings so that I can research these four levels of stuff, so that I can then, in turn, be allowed to research arrows so I can get some #$%!ing archers." Repeat process over and over, building in resource requirements every time. Not EXACTLY what goes on in the game, but you know what I mean

this game would be great if the development was more balanced, such as researching takes twice as long as it does for the computer... It's as if you are doomed to failure the moment the game starts...

Just beat the game in 27 weeks!!! For the first couple days only upgrade resources then move to army once the other city does. Don't go for the spirit units because they glitched and I couldn't get them even when I had the option to train them in the army menu. Give this a thumbs up if you found it helpful!

Okay if you are playing this game for the first time! This message is for you!
Yes there isn't a tutorial, Yes there is no Save button, Yes you will fail a few times! But, it's like an Onion...Picture an Onion...It will make you cry, but in the end after a few restarts, you will become thick skinned like an Onion. it'll teach you to never give up, apply what you have learnt from each failure to your new game and in the end you will prevail!
If this is your type of game, here are a few I used to play:
Lethal War Zone, Stick War, Age of War, Solarmax, Alexander: Dawn Of An Empire, Skies of War, Eridani, Creeper World:Evermore, Hex Empire, Starship Command, Master Of Fortresses, The Imperium, Super Energy Apocalypse: RECYCLED!, Frontier, Feudalism and Kingdoms Nobility.
Have fun :)

i've been reading most of the comments and its funny to see how people say its too fast then too slow x) and basicly the ennemy is strong but whith cheats u just pwn all ... i mean not really cheats is more like game glitches like if u put negative soldier amount u receive money or putting resources production to 999999999999999999999999= y and u get infinite stuff .
i really enjoyed the final battle where y 10 000 soldiers of all kind pwned the few long swordmans and archers that were at the fire city ^^

Good game i liked it quite a bit, here are some tipps (only read on if you dont want to think yourself of a strategy to beat this game or have done it already):
Use all the space you got before upgrading leave only one space for each building inside the city and fill the rest with houses.
Crank up your income as fast a possible in the first few minutes and while building baracks and teching on lumberproduktion and upgrading your barracks. Then tech for units and produce units and never let the production stop the rest of the ressources goes into your mines. Just sit on your ass upgrade and produce never leave your castle until the enemy failed some attacks then counterattack and youve won. Sadly if you have acceptable mousecontrol this game becomes way to easy ^^.

note to self... do not have both 800 Long Sword and Heavy shield men training when the enemy is attacking with overwhelming forces.... they will just kill them 1 at a time with you not being able to do ANYTHING about it...

Was a pretty easy game to beat, defend a few times then keep the attack pressed to keep them down, keep leveling up those resource fields though :)

I need help to understand how army's foe can be at the same time attacking and defending his town: mirror effect ? No save option.
