Please note: I am no longer checking this game to answer new comments. If you want to reach me, please send me a PM. Thank you.
Nope, this was 100% from scratch. In fact, I was so far away from using any pre-made material that until I actually searched for the definitions of the difficulty levels (near the end of the coding process) did I find that I was not the first to come up with the first-click empty spot... I was so disappointed to find that out that it had been implemented since Vista since the last time I had played was XP, so I thought I had made a new addition to the series instead of just being the same...

great implementation of the classic. Did I read somewhere that you did this without any actors? If you create a Mobius strip version, I'll give you 5/5. :-)
Mobius strip version? And you are correct, I did this without any actors (in the normal sense of the word. There are "actors" in the game, but they are just graphics holders for the flags and bombs).

Nice idea but I am too lazy to flag with keyboard. I don't know if it is possible because of flash but I want the right mouse button to flag.

Nice conversion of a classic game, good job. Some comments: 1) I would suggest some very basic instructions for those who never played Minesweeper or haven't played it in a long time. For example, what do the numbers mean, or that you are supposed to locate mines without clicking on them to win. 2) A pause button would be good, as khixan mentioned. However someone could abuse it to study the board, like you said, but could also simply screenshot the game before pausing if you "hide" the screen while paused. Maybe the solution would be a "quick pause", lasting only some seconds? It would give enough time to reply in the chat.
Ah yes, figured most people have played Minesweeper before... will try to add instructions. Am also looking into implementing the pause. If someone wants to screenshot the game and keep pausing, that's rather hardcore... :P EDIT: There actually IS a pause that I forgot about. Just press the scores button. That will pause your game :) EDIT 2: Pause added!

Of course it's a simple minesweeper game. Didn't do much for me, but a nice test. I just have a feeling that it's slightly easier than regular minesweeper, but I've never been able to figure it out. :)
If you include that the first click is guaranteed blank spot, then yes it's easier. I also tried to eliminate some of the common luck-based endings with the code. Besides that, it's the classic version.

Classis game and well done. Only wish there was a pause button since I keep wrecking my time score chatting. Or maybe there is one and I just haven't noticed it yet :)
A pause button was a toss up for me... really gave it a lot of thought, but I ended up deciding not to include one since players could abuse it to study the board and plan their next move... unless I hide the game while it's paused... *starts thinking* EDIT: There actually IS a pause that I forgot about. Just press the scores button. That will pause your game :) EDIT 2: Pause implemented :)

If you are interested in a "Reboot" version at some point that has a wrap-around feature (where the edges of one side connect to the squares on the other side), please rate this up. Or, if you have other ideas you'd like to see in a "Reboot" version, please feel free to let me know too ;)

It'ss Minesweeper. That's about it. It's well made, but I could just open the Windows game while chatting. Again, it's very well made and responsive, so 3/5.
Aye, but Windows doesn't let you compare with your friends ;). That was reason enough for me to make a Kong version, but yeah, it's just Minesweeper :P.

Well, its just Minesweeper with Kongregate chat on the side. That's about it. I for one am a slow thinker kind of minesweeper guy who never really rushes so I never found the Superclick very useful though it is pretty nice to be able to do a relaxing game to compliment chat. Keep up these simple games, practice makes perfect. 3/5
