Under rating threshold (show) upgrade all level at a time it will cost as much as the final upgrades instead of all level combined

Developer response from Abigayl

That was supposed to be a feature. If you save up, you can skip the earlier versions ;).

Under rating threshold (show) Alright, tried to play the game four times and each time my data gets lost, is this why it's called reboot? In all honesty though, it's probably a problem on my end, and though I can't personally enjoy it for whatever reason, it IS a great game.

Developer response from Abigayl

That's not why the game is called "Reboot"... I don't know why it's doing that :(. Are you playing in Chrome?

Under rating threshold (show) Better than the first, but the lag is unfortunate. 4/5.

Developer response from Abigayl

Thanks, the lag certainly does get in the way :(

Under rating threshold (show) Much better improvement. Not a fan of gravity based vertical movement, but the challenge is nice. I think upgrades should be earned about 10% faster, seems the pacing is just a touch too slow for today's gamers.

Acid surfing is the hidden EXP gain mechanism. Learn to do it well and you soon won't even care about the stars ;).

Under rating threshold (show) My computer doesn't lag btw. My CPU is Quad Core 2.4ghz.

Occasionally, I have found a menu to be laggy, but overall, it should run pretty smoothly. I am looking into fixing the menu lags, especially the main menu, as well as the lag when ending the game.

Under rating threshold (show) For those of you wondering why your computer that runs at 3.4ghz is lagging, it's because your computer is more powerful than flash so it's all caused by flash. Where as a 1.8ghz computer would be lagging before flash started to lag. Actually, maybe even a 2.4ghz.

I have a 3.2 myself with hardly any lag (besides transition upon death). Am looking into the issue though.

Under rating threshold (show) Awesome! Good job Abi I can't find any bugs except an little annoyance when a mine hits you and you touch the bottom/top losing that 5 XP before death :( . but still, AWESOME!

Developer response from Abigayl

Thanks Mati :). Try acid surfing to make up for the EXP loss ;)

Under rating threshold (show) When in-game, the mouse just feels slow and sluggish, even in the menu.

+ - !

(6)

Developer response from Abigayl

The menus might be slightly sluggish, they actually are higher lag than the game itself due to trying to add special effects...

Under rating threshold (show) This is superior to the original "Mr. Goldfish" in every way, great job. Very polished for a Stencyl game too. For new players, try to upgrade Start Health and Multiplier to level 4 or 5 first, the bonus help a lot. Try to save exp to upgrade more levels at once, focus on Mine Creation/Oil Creation/Poison Speed. Good luck!

Developer response from Abigayl

Thanks Cyc :). Also, some good hints there. I will add one of my own: if you swim close to the acid, you can get an "acid surfing" bonus, which can quickly rack up EXP if you are good at it.

Under rating threshold (show) Mouse controls don't work for me. :( I'm using Chrome.

+ - !

(-1)

Developer response from Abigayl

Could you please check again? I am using Chrome and mouse controls work fine... You have hold down left mouse button to rise, and the left-right movement is rather slow until you upgrade it. EDIT: Just updated the phrasing in game to clarify that you have to HOLD left mouse button.
