Under rating threshold (show) I've played this to death now and noticed a few things, hope this helps: Keep a slow pace! The platform 'spawns' are calculated based on your speed - meaning there will never be a platform that is unreachable at your current speed. Obviously if you hit a crate after the platform has spawned there's a chance you won't have the pace to make it but by keeping a low pace all the time you reduce that risk significantly. Crates near the start of a building give you a good chance to build speed back up before the next jump anyway, so hit them when possible - just avoid double crates. Don't jump further than you need to! If you aim to land on the first few centimetres of each platform you make windows and falling grinders much less of a problem. Grinders seem to fall exactly in the middle of their platforms, so by landing early you have a better chance of getting over them and back to solid ground in time for your next jump. <3 Canabalt!

Under rating threshold (show) Yes!! 18,232! Love this game. Anyway, I have a tip on bombs. When you hear echoing, kind of clamping/stomping (higher pitched though) sound, it always means that a bomb will hit the next building. When you hear that, make sure to not jump anywhere near the middle of the next building, because a bomb's coming! Use that, and all of Aaants tips (especially using crates to slow yourself down), and you're sure to get a nice score.

Under rating threshold (show) Remember: if you GET A HIGH SCORE on Canabalt, be sure to PLAY AT LEAST ONE MORE TIME before you leave the webpage. Apparently the game only saves a high score once you've started another game, so if you just quit immediately after dying, then the high score you just made will be lost. This happened to me a couple times already. Of course, daily and weekly scores reset at the end of the day or the week, so unless you get an all time high your score won't last very long anyway.

Under rating threshold (show) I've noticed quite a few things that are pretty damn interesting. First the small things:the ship that flies by has a huge mounted gun on it. "You've been vaporised" small bomb that you bumb into, explodes. Canabalt crane company on the crane. Every 5000 meters theres a special background piece. At 5000, there's a floating fortress. At 10,000 theres a huge drop pod or a giant leg of some huge mechanic beast. When the obstacle where this huge thing drops onto the building in front of you and destroys it, theres a door and ladder slightly smaller than the man who you control. Plus this up so everyone can see the secrets. Post the special background for 15k and 20k and beyond if you can ;)

Under rating threshold (show) This game is partially difficult, meaning that it gets hard sometimes and easier sometimes, I personally hate when you have to strike in a window, if I jump I don't get in and fall, if I don't jump I fail anyways, and there is no slowing down button in this either, so how am I supposed to do that?
