Flag this comment as inappropriateThis is a pretty close copy of Speedball (1), the old, old, OLD (like 1985 old) Bitmap Brothers game, with less graphics and just a little less AI. Like the original, it could use a little more depth; like the original, good fun to play.

It’s great to make the controls really simple, but I think it would be better as a 2-button game, one for shoot/tackle and one for pass/switch player. I’m actually amazed that you managed to make the one-button control scheme work as well as it does. 4/5
