I'm so happy I found this again. I played it years ago but couldn't remember the name. Kept thinking it was something like Azareal, Azreal, etc. So close, but still couldn't find it until I just started going through the pages of the platformer category.

Not sure if I'm missing something or my skills are just awful, but the wizard in his lair at the end just isn't worth continually trying to kill. I've cleared the map and gone to fight him, and I get as far as the third spawning of spike machines and then the wizards gets the clear tint that means I can't hurt him but he can still run through me and hurt me. Otherwise an interesting story and nice game.

Absolutely horrific. Dead-ends everywhere you go. Enemies that respawn endlessly. Zero indication of where to go. Bad controls that don't work. 1/5

I guess no one will see this, but I put this game on Speedrun.com, if anyone is interested. This game can be quite surprisingly fast, if you know what you are doing and plan your way in advance.

this game brigs back so many memories of sitting in the public library after school and playing games. Ahh, the good old days.

Really enjoyed this platform game . The controls are good, instructions are clear, the map is fun to explore and figure out how to move forward.

I usually stay away from Metroidvanias like the plague, but this one was actually enjoyable for me. You may have opened up a new guilty pleasure for me :)

IMPORTANT: If you want to go for 100% you should do it in one sitting and DO NOT kill the final boss before having all fragments and upgrades. Continuing the game, even if you kill the final boss and then continue right away, will RESET your map and you'll have to uncover it all again to find what you missed. This is a HUGE pain in the butt.

Apparently, you can damage the final boss without starting the boss fight. Deal enough damage to get it out of first phase and the entrance won't be blocked if you start the fight. Deal more damage and you can actually get the boss to jump out of the room. Deal even more and you'll skip the whole thing.

I died at the 2nd key and now the 2nd key is gone. I can't get it anymore so I can't progress...bit weird to have to play a game from 2012 to get a pet and it's not working

I'm still waiting for when Arzea will want my power again. Hopefully then the cat has some use. Maybe the cat already has some use that I cannot find, like if it's an enemy that I can only hit with a very high level, but I can't hit it at lv76 so idk

1/5 i like platforming games, but this is hard to enjoy. the graphics are bland; feels like im only in one area because the blocks all look the same. this makes it very confusing to get around unless you keep looking at the map. there should be a variety of block styles to signify different areas; this would make it so that when you get a key, like blue, you can think, 'oh ive seen blue gates at the ice place,' then youll retrace back there. also, i think for a map this large and hard to navigate through, you should be able to teleport to save points. it just feels tedious going back to areas when you get a key. 1/5 all in all, more variety in graphics and more mobility.

Note that I got the badge after getting keys Red, Yellow and Green ( Green is right behind yellow, but technically I seem to have gotten it while I already had 3 keys).

I got the key, did the save crystal, and a minute later I noticed I had the badge. I guess sometimes it takes a bit of time? (Was also standing still for 30 seconds, but probably not related).

Visiting a crystal doesn't award it either. Do you have to die/finish the game to get it? or should you just contact kong support? I\ll try all just in case.

Achievements didn't work for me either. Had to send a screenshot. As for the first person saying the map reset, it happened to me when I killed the boss without having all the teleport crystals.

if you've gotten multiple keys and still haven't gotten the badge, try dying.
It awarded me the badge right after I died

Got all the keys. beaten boss twice. still no badge. reloading the game deletes all the progress. too bad because the game was nice.
