Under rating threshold (show) How is the protagonist from a jumping-tower-game similar to a reality actor? They both must jump around, doing still more crazy stunts, lest people will get bored and the camera will find someone else to film. And then they die. From lack of camera.

Under rating threshold (show) avatar for Arkeus Arkeus May. 4, 2011 I’ve been reading your comments, and I’ve made the following changes: Enemies no longer shoot from off screen, you get knocked back less and recover faster from hitting enemies, Nothing To Live For requires you to die in 10s, up from 6s, you can use Q and E to dash left and right, respectively, S (with down) dashes in whatever direction you are facing, autofire is now toggled with F, enemy bullets are destroyed when they hit you, and the damage you take from enemies goes up much slower. Let me know what you think

Under rating threshold (show) A couple of years ago we were renovating our kitchen, and as a result, the internet was down for a few weeks. I figured I'd make a game of my own to play in that time. This game reminds me of that game - not flashy or clever, but really fun. Solid. Love this.

Under rating threshold (show) I GOT IT. I GOOOOOTTTTT ITTTTTTTTTTTTTT. If I have any advice for others who are attempting this remarkably challenging (but satisfying) hard badge, it's to never give up even when it looks hopeless e.g. you have four hearts left at 300 meters. Much of the game's difficulty comes from a couple of particularly difficult random "level" generations, and you can go from 300 to 1000 with only a hit or two if you get lucky. Also, I really found it easier to concentrate without worrying about the mouse at all - it's not like you have time to aim at anything. Good luck.

Under rating threshold (show) Very difficult but fun. The hard badge is definitely one of the more challenging to get on this site. The game demands so much of my hands that wrist pain is a serious obstacle after 600 meters or so, and I eventually made better progress by pressing F and ignoring the mouse altogether. Very fun, but not for the easily frustrated or those with weak wrists.

Under rating threshold (show) My highest height was about 300... Then I randomly managed to get 941 with only 21 upgrades... Very fun games, this and the sequel both. I like the sequel more of course, but this is very impressive and fun for the time frame it was developed in!
