After you reach paradox mode, you'll notice this Inventium multiplier. It goes up with kills, and resets when you get hit. Need some money to buy all those V6 upgrades? Need some weapon XP or just plain XP? Make your way the 'One Way Escape' level, the last on the second planet. Now throw a freeze bomb at the grinder, and run behind it. Let it go in front of you, and kill all those baddys for a ton of money- you never get hit, your multiplier goes up, and you get rich.

it would be nice if chalenges were shown inside the stage. For instance in the challenge "kill 20 guys using the boomstick" a "guys killed with boomstick 0/20" text is shown on the screen while doing the stage, and in stages with lotsa objectives like "kill at least 1 badguy with every weapon" a small list of 2-3 weapons would show and disapearing as we completed them.

Every premium content will become free on May 1st and he made everything more expensive so he can discourage new people buying the premium content until it is free.

Sorry about the delay. I'm currently talk to Kongregate on how to transition from the old version to the new one. Hopefully it won't take too long. Arm yourself with patience! :P

An easy way to escape the shredder is to simply freeze it and walk through the blades. Then collect the money as it rolls in.

While I paid for features previously I'm in no way bitter. The way I see it, I paid towards the development of future titles via this great game.

Appropriately, the best level for grinding Inventium is the one with "The Grinder" - 5: One Way Escape on the planet Gizma. There are three reasons this is the case: 1) Being killed by The Grinder doesn't clear your Inventium multiplier; 2) None of the enemies use projectiles, so you can just jump when they come nearby and they'll be fed into the Grinder; and 3) You get Inventium, experience, and weapon experience anytime an enemy dies, regardless of cause. Just stay right by the Grinder, jump every time an enemy comes nearby, (the Bunny Jump perk makes the timing more forgiving,) and rake in the cash and experience!

There are some bugs with the game:
1. The M1 Garand's V6+ upgrades only increase relative damage by 0%.
2. Reaper's Return is nonfunctional.

Given the mechanic of XP from non-weapon-related deaths going to the weapon equiped, I'd love a weapon that's explicitly useless - at least in the sense that it can't kill, though maybe it can reduce HP down to 1 - until it reaches level 5, and becomes the best weapon at that point - of course, it would have to be unlocked in New Game +

i wish we can toggle the friendly fire perk off/on after we purchase it cuz its kinda hard to get wep kills when the enemy shoots >_>

These weapons are so similar to the weapons on Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal. I'm going to take a guess and say that series of games was one of your "inspirations."

Ah man, the text in this game is amazing. It made the game so much more enjoyable for me, I'm surprised I haven't seen any comments on it yet.

great game, i especially like the combination of weapon lvling like in ratchet and clank and perks like fallout. there's a lot of cool stuff to lvl up, and the curiosity what a lvl 5 weapon will get as a bonus easily keeps you playing. 5/5

I wouldn't mind giving $2 or $3 for unlocking ALL content, but 5 buck per extra campaign or 10 for the 3 is just greedy. I've bough KOTOR on steam for 5 bucks and even if your game is good it's not KOTOR. I realize you guys got to eat but you really should be asking the player to choose how much he want to give you for it, if they enjoy your game people will be generous.
I liked Necronator, i gave 5 buck for it even if i could get the premium content for one but i won't give you a cent because asking for $10 for extra content is just way too much. As you said it's only 20% of the game so that would mean the full game would worth $50, more than Skyrim... I don't think so. Plus i'm sure you get a lot of money from ads and contests.
Your game worth a 4 for me but you lost 1 point for your attitude, there is a lot of better games out there that don't ask for a cent.
I'm not saying that to be mean, take it as a marketing advice.
I had already planned to try another pricing strategy in my next game. I felt that I had to do both so I could determine the best price range. The current prices are mostly as they are by looking at other games with premium content (didn't know about Necronator).

Well..game doesn't seem bad..I'd say it would be rather enjoyable.
Why "would" ? I won't blame the author for wishing to earn a buck, but there's definitely too many of those "pay for" buttons. Leaves somewhat greedy image.
And in whole honestly..if I would had such amount of money to spend on this, I'd rather go and buy some serious 'real' game. No offense.

It is unfortunate the situation you are in. But when I bought the premium content and I didn't regret because I knew it would help you to make more great content in the future. And to anyone who is looking forward to it being free, you are going to be in for a fun ride.

If he hadn't added any premium content, and left the game at 80%, no-one would be complaining, but because extra content is on offer everyone thinks it's unfair.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The moment I saw the "pay for" buttons I knew all the top comment would be about the premium content and not the actual game.

I am going to be honest and say the Final Deathwish was much better (not in all areas, though). I liked getting additional perks for completing challenges and I believe there were more perks in general. The game was also less linear, as you could complete certain levels that were off the track. There were actual gadgets with passive abilities and you could wear more of them. There were more types of armour with actual additions. All in all, if you're going to make a similar game, I'd suggest taking some advice from your former game. I like being able to level your weapons to 10 after completing the campaign once, and I like the several new additions of perks and weapons, though.
There were more perks in TFDW many of them were also duplicates. The perks you got from challenges were so minor that they were neglectable. The current challenge reward is there to build tension (what is the secret weapon?!). I can understand that you miss the multiple paths but I thought it was somewhat gimmicky and didn't really anything substantial. Finally, regarding the gadgets: Passive bonuses are already provided though perks, it's silly to have 2 separate systems that does the same thing. Which is also why armor only protects against damage.

"Versus Umbra" is a very interesting game. There is a lot of game-play to be found within it. The main campaign has a decent length and a variety of challenges. The weapons all feel fresh and unique to use, obtaining their own special ability upon reaching level five. Upon finishing the campaign, you get the option of starting Paradox Mode, a harder version of the campaign where you can level up even farther. The soundtrack in the game is enjoyable and I did not find myself getting tired of it. The art is also very clean and nice to look at. I didn't find many issues with the game, although the enemy variety wasn't too large. There were a few different types of enemies and each had modified versions that you fought regularly. Despite the repetitive nature of the game, the amount of upgrading there is to do made it not feel boring. Verdict: 5/5

This game should only really get a 4/5 max if most of the people arent going to play 20% of the content. I really hate premium content on games.

Arkuni:
First of all I want to say that I really enjoyed the game. I did not gave it a 1/5, I gave it a 4/5.
For the second I just want to say that I maybe should have kept a bit lower profile. I'm just so upset over that all the good games must have some premium content, although I do understand why.

The previous reply wasn't aimed at you. I do not hold a grudge against anyone who doesn't want to pay or even against people who announces it aloud. instead of being upset over premium content, be happy that the vast majority is still free and the money will allow me to put more time into my next game.
Unfortunately, I don't think it will, but it has nothing to do with me being lazy and everything to do with the current raptor assault on my apartment!... Seriously though, don't kill me if it gets delayed. ^^

My only complaint (besides the BUY ME's everywhere, gotta make a living, I know) is that we can't turn off perks. Trying to go back and do the level 3-3 and end with my health under 25% is frustrating with all the immunity/block/+healing perks.

"It's perfectly the same background as in the other game that played him here" it's the traduct of "Det er jo fuldkommen samme baggrund som i det der andet spil ham tosset her levet" when you start the third level before beating it.
