Under rating threshold (show) annie the witch is the best cost unit in the game. Have all witches + one healer. Near the end of the game, use only witches + battler healers. 1st item to buy is the death mask (+40 mattack). Then sorcerer orb (+2 attack range). Then the wizard's will (+50 mattack). The last boss has an attack range of 7, but there are 3 spots behind the trees that let you peak out and attack the boss, then you hide again. The boss can't move, so keep doing this until he dies.

Under rating threshold (show) Really cool game, but too easy with lot of mage. Maybe a 'hard mode', ennemies with more life/attack ? And i used only lot of annie the witch + a heal. Maybe add a maximum of same character per fight ?

Under rating threshold (show) Nice game little idea but needs a little polishing. The square indicating which hero is active can be kinda hard to see some times. Also the high priestess casting can be a little clunky. There were times when I wanted to heal a group of heroes/blast some baddies but couldn't because the hero in the middle was not hurt. Then there's not being able to attack empty spaces with an area of attack spells that's been mentioned a few times already. More missions would be nice as well as some tougher baddies...maybe some completely immune to either physical or magical dmg. Nice work. I look forward to some updates...maybe even a sequel.

Under rating threshold (show) The levels/maps are too small and uninteresting for an experienced tactical TBS player. There seems to be no story line, no character development beyond gear.

Under rating threshold (show) A button to switch between attacking and moving would be nice. I keep trying to area attack things with my mage, but it doesn't work because when I click on a square that isn't inhabited by a monster it just automatically assumes I want to move there. Let me choose if I want to move or attack. As for spelling, just about everywhere. I assume you probably have a friend who can spell somewhere, have him/her look over it.

Under rating threshold (show) The basic game design is good and the sprite graphics are very nice, but there is no challenge to this game at all. I don't need to exercise my brain to defeat these enemies, which makes it not much of a 'tactical game' in my opinion. First, the enemies need to be much tougher, and probably more numerous. The units need to be balanced - I shouldn't be able to curbstomp everything with mages. There need to be reasons to use different units - damage resistances or ability to travel different terrain - you should be able to come up with something. Being able to attack a blank space with a mage without moving must be possible, and walking past your own units should be possible. To make a long story short, the combat needs to be a whole lot more complex, enough so that the player has to at least think about how to approach a level in order to beat it perfectly.

Under rating threshold (show) I loved the old school graphics, the smooth gameplay, the relevant upgrades, the nice heroes. But the difficulty takes far too much time to come, the first half of the game, I just clicked randomly on units, moving forwards, attacking without even a slice of strategy. Happily, it gets better after the Witch fight. 4/5 for that +1 because I'm partial and I loved it :)

Under rating threshold (show) Alright, finished the game. It was a bit too easy. Lots of items but no reason to buy most of them. Have equipment unlock as you progress. The equipment I used was +2 range, +1 range/Move, +50 mag/-50magresist. Made the final boss easy by just standing outside of its range and shooting, then returning to outside of range. For the regular stages just use pirate, crusader, high priest, red mage and whatever other mages you prefer depending on open spots.

Under rating threshold (show) Great game so far, but a few things. Area healers need to be able to be healed by their own spell if within the area. Need to be able to attack blank spaces with casters. Attack & move options separately. Good basis just improve on it. 4/5

Under rating threshold (show) I didn't realize you could take each hero more than once. This make Annie far more too powerful. If you can only take each hero once, it makes the game a bit more challenging. Lots of artefact get interesting, too.

Under rating threshold (show) Fun game, enjoyed it! It could do with some polishing up, but on the whole I really liked it. I only bought 3 items the entire game - those need to be reworked or redone in order to not be like an afterthough. After experimenting with all the characters I ended up only using Annie, the Pirates, the Battle Healers and Snipers. And to those who say the only way to beat the dragon is by exploiting line of sight - I say false. I won't give it away, but I beat the boss without resorting to tricks.... you just have to pay attention to your troop placement/skills. All in all, very fun game. and the LoL reference made me chuckle :) 4/5

Under rating threshold (show) fun game, a bit odd however that the fire wizard costs more than annie and is less usefull. going full caster is by far the easiest way of winning, priests CAN damage enemy units instead of healing, hte priest that costs 70 does single target strong heal, the one that costs 55 can only cast in a straight line but does an aoe heal (meaning anyone one step away ortagonal gets healed too) one fun thing to do is to put one of your hurt units next to an enemy that only needs a bit of damage to die, the aoe priest can kill that enemy and the area of effect on your unit is a heal the game can be won with no units lost on any map, though on the last that requires a bit of planning

Under rating threshold (show) Nice game, although it was a tad easy. Once I got the warrior pact early on in the game, the pirates and archers just walked through everything. The 'dragon' at the end though was tough. It's a good thing priests can attack, else I would have lost :p. Looking forward to a sequel :D
