It also appears that upon completing the missions, you can no longer work towards the other awards. I've built 8 ski schools and still can't get the award for building 4. I've replayed 10 of the missions, meaning I've built at least 40 additional profit bearing buildings, no "70 Profitable Buildings" award. Had I known it would lock me out of getting the other awards, I wouldn't have finished the missions.

After you complete a level you should be able to mouse over each mission to see what it's goals are. Have to also agree with everyone who points out the abrupt ending and the lack of descriptions of the 4 upgradable sites.

Great game. Clearly unfinished, though.
Suggestion: I would like to see a free-play mode. Just a big grid with no time limit. There's no reason to play again after you've "completed" it as it is.

I agree with Marcus. Did you guys just get bored or rushed and decide not to finish the story? You built up a really cute story line, and then it's like you just forgot to finish it. Such a shame. Aside from that, gameplay was nice!

Considering whether to spend $10 on the full game. It's available for sale at http://www.bigfishgames.com/download-games/9175/ski-resort-mogul/index.html.

Broke the game within 2 minutes. Stuck at the part where she wants me to repair the cabin but its forever upgrading (probably clicked too many times on the arrow).

Wild tangent is so gonna sue. Similarities are one thing, identical though... I actually wish you'd been more original simply so I could play a different spin, a different game.

ok I get to do 6 lvl and then what? game over? really? not thrilled about this...I hate it when kongregate puts games on here that you don't actually get to play...could be a good game

5/5
-1: Gets boring, same strategy over the whole game
-1: The end
-1: Missing missions - I'd say ok, lets play on their site, but u dont give any hints about anything...

The gameplay is boring - no improvement on the cookie-cutter Something-Mogul concept. And what passes for "dialogue" borders on hilariously pandering.

A. Love the game except for the "ending"
B. Descriptions of the buildings would be helpful. The ones you unlock with magnate points.
C. Some "difficulty" would be nice. I got magnate on every level without trying even remotely hard. I am however an avid time management game player.

Anti-climatic ending, cluttered UI, no descriptions for upgrades, buildings and many other things. Graphics of buildings not really 'unique' enough, could be easier to tell them apart.

I loved the game. Kept me so addicted I never stopped until I finished. Wish there were more free games like this out there. The graphics were great and it was hard enough to keep it interesting but not to hard so that it was frustrating I really hope that you make another one like it:)

You can go back and play levels (1 and 2 are the fastest) to get more money to upgrade the buildings - it's a grind, but seems to be the only real way; once a goal is met (i.e. build 6 cabins), it seems that you can then knock down those cabins to try to meet another goal - that's the only way I passed the ice rink level; some levels seem unpassable until several upgrades have been made in the Build menu; REALLY needs a Why the Hell is this Building Empty? button

Bonus buildings: School (right): better workers. Factory (lower left): building materials. Headquarters (center): starting money, guests and time. Ad Agency (upper left): not sure, maybe more starting guests on the line.
