Under rating threshold (show) There needs to be some sort of indicator on the battle screen that shows what spells are in effect. I want to see if my enemy is still cursed and I want to see if I'm still covered by regenerate. Things like that.

Under rating threshold (show) Hahaha. Rebuilding almost all buildings as shrines. Basic attack doing 5.5k. You get so overpowered in this game (after the first 25% the rest is cake). It's just a chore to kill each guy to beat the game, but is otherwise a faceroll that takes forever, but is easy (and tedious).

Under rating threshold (show) EXPLOIT - building +% effects remain after you destroy them. this means you can build as many shrines/markets/towns as you have money to buy them with ON A SINGLE SPOT and every time you build it your damage/etc. keeps going up! (NOTE: this will definitely NOT work with army unit buildings.)

Under rating threshold (show) In the tournament level there are 10 fights per level. Each level won here will upgrade your Armour by almost double every time. Don't waste any of your skill points for anything but leveling up your weapon as you will gain all the HP and MP needed to win simply by getting more experience winning all your battles. For the battles that the enemy seems to gain more HP than the damage you can deliver, get the "Deadly Silent Spell" obtained from the Demonic tree and cast this first in every battle, that way they can't use magic against you OR any buffs for themselves. (Be sure to renew that spell at the beginning of every third round when necessary).

Under rating threshold (show) There are too many battles that you fight the exact same way. Why kill 10x of the same monster when every time the steps involved are exactly the same - and not much fun? Simply put, I don't like this game because it's a grind fest and fighting really feels like a chore. Should have fewer battles, more diverse enemies (in how they fight too, not only how they look), more randomness or a more engaging and hands-on combat system.

Under rating threshold (show) Good ideas, but as others have noted...the execution is sloppy at best. The sheer number of battles you must conduct at the SAME level becomes mind-numbing. If I have already handily beaten a skeleton mage once, why must I beat 12 more before moving on? In addition, by beating those 12 additional skeleton mages, my earnings get inflated and money is virtually useless (I wouldn't waste money on markets except maybe at the VERY beginning). Conceptually it gets a 4/5...execution, 1.5 or so.

Under rating threshold (show) If you replace all buildings (except catapults) with shrines, you can normal melee kill ALL enemies. If you silence the bosses, even the hardest ones can be killed without even the slightest hint of trouble.

Under rating threshold (show) Something very annoying: clicking anywhere (or even just on the continue button) doesn't make all the text appear at once. I can read faster than the text gets revealed, and there doesn't seem to be any option to change the text speed. It's a minor detail, but I want to see the story, and I don't want seeing the story to take so *long.*

Under rating threshold (show) after you get death on you side it goes from tedious work for hard badges to boring tedious work for hard badges. also during seiges ever noticed how the enemy catapults on the castle have abnomally large range of damage, like just now one did 36 damage to my foot soldiers and then the same one did 1 damage to the same unit next round

Under rating threshold (show) Another thing that I believe would make this game much better is the ability to plan ahead. It's seriously annoying to not be able to leech twice when you have 25 MP, then attack to restore 35 MP, then are forced to attack again or use a potion because the game can't register that you'll gain MP beforehand. Another example is when you get the last enemy infantry army down to where you can one-hit it, then can't use a tower on the same turn. :/

Under rating threshold (show) To much grinding involved, and you should have certain amounts of souls per monster like 1 for goblin and like 100 for the king. should be able to see the monster im about to fights stats so i dont purposely kill myself. 3/5

Under rating threshold (show) while fighting an opponent i found myself at around half health (664/1300) with no mana for my syphon blood so i figured why not use a regular potion, instead my character used my powerful potion for 5000 hp. the game needs to give me the option of which potion to use or at least offer more tyes of potions at cheaper prices e.g 1000 hp potion. just for this im changing my rating from 4 to 3

Under rating threshold (show) Kind of painfully repetitious, but here are my tips. 1: Knight path middle and right sides for damage. 2. Get both regenerations from mage tree, (down the center of the tree) and nothing else. Mp will grow with levels and be sufficient enough. 3. After a few islands are complete, complete the left side of the Demon tree to get disease. This will help you with bosses along with regen. 4. You don't need to grind at the yellow squares, you do a lot of killing along the path. 5. Money is nearly useless until late game until you can purchase shrines. Might be okay to build markets but I only had a few and was alright. Most were unpopulated. Once you get shrines, remove everything else and make it a shrine UNLESS it is for catapults. 6: For the seige, ALWAYS use your initial frontline warriors they are your meatshield. After you get catapults and then dragon, use two catapults and dragon and focus on tower. 7: souls all go to weapon.

Under rating threshold (show) What started out as a solid game, with an old school RPG feel, soon became an exercise in tedium. If you have an RPG in which your health and mana refill after each battle, every single story battle, must increase in difficulty, or change enough to make it different, or you are going to get bored fast. There's no need for the training battles, as all the battles between the bosses are training battles.

Under rating threshold (show) BIG TIP: Only build enough to have 1 potions shop, 2 catapaults and 2 front lines. The catapaults can take out the castles with easy, and once you defeat the dragon and have him fight for you, the castle battles are a breeze. Once you reach Dark Force, you will get blueprints for building shrines early on. Now is where all those unused building spaces you saved up come in handy. Fill all those spaces with shrines. Each shrine built adds to your damage by 10%. By the time I had 6 shrines built, I was able to do about 24,000 damage every turn. Of course I was at level 45 by this time but, even if you're not that high, the shrines will turn battles and bosses into nothing...of course if you've upgraded enough they are already but, still. + this so everyone can see.

Under rating threshold (show) After playing this game on another site, I think it need some serious balancing compared to the others. First off gold is way to grindy to get. Grind gold to build a port. Grind gold to buy siege stuff so you can beat the castle. Grind gold for potions so you can beat the boss. Next the soul system was way off. I was fighting enemies that were fairly tough and they still were too "weak" to give me souls. Next there has to be a restat option. I went Knight without knowing that it was next to useless. I reach a boss that healed himself for 2000+ every round and it was impossible to beat him with my current setup.

Under rating threshold (show) Just completed the game! Finished at level 46 and skipped as much as i possibly could, which was basically nothing until the last island. Personally, I did this to get all the badges. If you do not care about badges, then i would recommend not playing this game. It took me 7 freaking hours to beat this game. And I didn't move. Way too much of the same exact same thing in here, and it is rather slow. Good game structure, just 5 hours too long, in my opinion. Please plus up for a warning to people just starting this game!
