Beat it. When you know the pattern the skull boss is actually easier in my opinion. His pattern is: Right side of the screen --> Fireballs --> Middle of the screen --> Fireballs --> Left side of the screen --> Fireballs. I stayed at the left until he arrived, then ran to the right side of the screen building up my magic attack. When he is at the right side again, attack him with your magic while you run to the left side of the screen.

This game would be a lot better if you could jump up through the platforms instead of trying to find a place to squeeze your fat ass between them. Too many times I tried to dodge the laser but couldn't jump up due to that.

if you want to get the less than 4.000 frames achievement, try to get 3 or 4 tombstones at the same place (try in the middle of the map so you don't knock them off screen) and whack them and the beard at the same time. the beard always follows you unless he does the laser thing or tosses the bread. This way you should reach the maximum experience before he turns into a skull, or at least be close to it. During the transformation he's invulnerable so either whack the tombstones some more, or if you're maxed out, charge the magic attack to the max, and release once he finishes the transformation. Never get close to him when he's in position for the attack, instead try to intercept him. Hits slow him down for a second, and you can pull off 3-5 hits each time you intercept. He attacks on the left, the right, then the middle in that order. Hope this helps. :)

Instead of trying to dodge his eye attacks by jumping up and down the platforms, just chase him down and stand on the other side of him when he starts shooting the top row. You can attack him the whole time he is doing his attack without harm.

When he shoots lazers, try going behind him, then keep attacking him. The lazer never changes its initial direction, so you can get 16+ combos even with a plunger.

You know, I kinda wish there was a line/sign/something with a message saying something like... dunno... "Hold down the 'A' button to charge your magic attack (depends on your remaining magic)"...

Tips for Speed Razor (hard) achievement:
1. Reset (press R) until you find at least 2 tombstones close together, preferably 3 or 4. When he chases you to use his beard attack, position yourself so that you can hit him and multiple tombstones at the same time
2. When he goes into the sky to drop bread, just keep hitting tombstones, do not waste time hiding under platform unless you're at 1 life left. If you do die, your tombstone cluster will gain another tombstone, speeding up your XP gain
3. When he shoots his laser, get behind him and keep attacking to get
high combos/XP
4. Get max level before killing him and get him low (5-10hits from death).
Bait him to left edge and keep hitting him to the left so that he dies at the left edge. Then when he turns to a skull, keep hitting him to the left edge and you will kill him without him shooting a single fireball
Using these strategies, I got a winSpeed of 2848

worked to me: stay on far left and smash him when he is close. You will be behind him when he uses laser; when the bad guy goes to the other side, jump on platforms on second shot. When he becames a skull, simply stay on midlle and go a little bit left when he shots form the center. It will take long , but he can be beaten by one smash per time

After more than a few tries I finally got the badge. I can say that no pain = no gain! Be aggressive and level up even if you get hit, or you'll just prolong the fight. Use your attacks to knock Fulp inwards so you can be safe behind his laser, and use jump attacks to reach him if he's high up. Instead of mashing attack, there are times when you'll want to time your attacks so you can move a little between them. Your mobility is actually excellent in this game. FINALLY, stronger weapons are not only exponentially stronger, but they charge magic faster! Use it before you die.

Awesome game once you figure out what to do. 1.) When he is close to you, attack him until you see his beard move, then dodge his attack. 2.) When he moves to the side, he will laser the top row, then the bottom row. During this time, attack from bottom, then attack from top. (Note: The middle platform is not high enough to dodge the bottom laser.) 3.) When he exits the top of the screen, he will throw bread down at you. Stand under a platform, then let the bread bounce and dodge after. 4.) He also has an attack where he rotates his beard and chases you, although he seems to use it randomly. 5.) The skull only has one attack, it will shoot fireballs in all 8 directions on the left, right, then middle of the screen in that order. If you stand on the bumps on the lower levels, his fireballs can't hit you as long as you're not next to him. You can use this time to fully charge your magic. Stay away from his attack, then attack during his cool down period.

Guys,that hard achievement was pretty easy,but don't forget:keep spamming hits on the beard everywhere,and when he actually drops breads from the sky,spawn a lot of hits in the tombstones,and keep attacking he even when he try to hit you with his beard,because if he don't get close you don't take damage,did 3377 best time on it this way,bye guys and gg with that hard badge

While its the head: get behind him when he shoots lasers (he always shoots to mid so just get to corner) and spam attacks, you damage him a lot and will level up.
If he turn to skull: just stant in the mid and wait till he flies by to jump and attack him. If he stays in mid run to corner. Made me win vs him very fast with this technique :)

Tip to beat the Skull: Use the magic, stay away from it (because it always attacks with fireballs, so stay away from him) maybe do a few swings when it's going to the left (by standing on the left for 1 attack) or the right (by being in the middle) and wait for the magic bar to charge up for another attack. Hold A for full powerful attack. Keep doing this, and you'll survive and win.

Tips:
1. When he shoots the lasers, go behind where he's shooting and spam attack. Even if it looks like you might get hit, you won't.
2. Juggle tombstones for lots of xp.
3. Your attack reach is slightly longer than Tom's (with the exception of lasers, of course.)
4. Pressing and holding "a" will charge up your magic attack. The fuller the blue bar is, the faster this happens. You can move around while it's charging, but won't be able to attack for obvious reasons.
5. The skull has one attack, the fireballs. He shoots them from three different places. There's a spot on the field that you can stand in which he will not hit you for two of them, and for the third it's just a slight adjustment.
6. Attacking with the magic attack spins the xp counter- do it as much as is reasonable.
7. Lasers always shoot from the top first, so stay on the ground as much as possible until you see the first laser.

This game could be a perfect one to play and earn the Fulp Fiction (medium) badge as the last badge for the epic quest because it's a arcade boss battle game. If we do so, it would look like it's the final boss battle of the epic quest (on Kongregate).

When he turns into bad-ass skull form-- which he will do -- There is an area in the middle of the map (in a dirt pit, the bigger one) Where you can easily dodge the attacks. + this to keep it alive!

When I killed him in his first stage, I was like "FINALLY!" but guess what, I had to kill his skull. I was thinking when I killed his skull "I swear, if I have to kill his brain..." but luckly I didn't.

Hold A to charge your spell and release to fire. Stack the gravestones together to gain more xp. The longer you chain your attacks the more xp you get per attack. If you knock him back when he's moving to a certain spot you get more time until he can attack.

a few tips for getting the quest badge
1: stay behind him when he does the laser attack
2: focus on not taking damage and ficus on hitting while behind him when hes doing his laser attack
3: in the skull form, only attack him with magic attacks to avoid his fire blasts
4: in his skull form he alway goes left right center over and over so jsut stay away and blast with magic when its charged.
