"standard chess rules" say that if the chessclock hits 0, the player who has taken so long to make their move loses. This game does not appear to have a chessclock, so a lot of people seem to just sit there, doing nothing whatsoever, knowing that their opponent will have little option but to leave the game, leaving them as the winner.
So, in short, this game is fundamentally flawed. There are much better multiplayer chess games than this on Kongregate. Why this one keeps coming to the top of my searches, I'll never know.

very nice interface. a little confusing to get started. With an easy to understand system of starting games and how to find opponents, this chess server would be quite addicting.

@trolls --- I don't really find anything wrong with the interface itself. Actually, some people actually do bet on chess games... it's just not well known to do so. Also, there are plenty of other sites you can play on if you're going to bitch this much about the rating system, tokens, time, and other b.s.

I wish they could create a more stylish kind of chess like the part where Harry, Ron and Harmoine played it in "Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone".

Some of these people only win by sitting and doing nothing. They just sit watching the screen with their finger up their arse, and rotate on it.

Why not a tut for the people that dont know how to play chess it might take a while but still telling them what the pieces are and how they move ill probobbly get them to start moving their pieces

Chess isnt about winning, loseing or finishing turns fast. Its about relaxing and taking a moment to sit back and examane the board.

the 110 seconds is plenty, i have no problem with it. But when i get a random 12 second game. the constant beeping gets annoying. would be best if we could choose a 110 second game or a 12 second blitz game.
