Let me be the first to congratulate you on a very good premise to a game. The graphics are more than up to par for the genre, the game play flows smoothly through the whole run, and the challenge grows at a very well balanced paced throughout a game. 4/5 Stars for the good of this game
That being said, there are a few issues, namely, I never noticed a detectable difference in fire rate no matter how much i leveled up my weapon, and damage would be hard to tell, as the zombies health (or dam. resistance) gets higher later in the game. I also wouldn't mind seeing an actual upgrade system outside of gameplay. While the bonus/award system is nice, this game has the potential for far more replayability if you could permanently level up your guard/weapon/special.
All in all, great game though, and I look forward to seeing what you make in the future.
thx :) The fire rate stays nearly the same, its more a damage upgrade.

I think this game needs more polish. The graphics are adequate, but I think the mechanics need to be more fluid. In regards to the upgrades, I agree with nadiakasper24. This game has loads of potential, but it's not being realized in its current form. I think with some constructive criticism and a little more polish, the next incarnation would be extremely fun. Balance is alright, but if the fire rate doesn't actually upgrade, what's the point of including it, if its filler? Speaking as someone with a little experience in game development from a design/writing aspect, it's better to do a few things VERY well, than to include a bunch of mechanics that don't really contribute anything to the game itself. I wish you luck and hope that whatever you make next is great! All in all, 3 of 5.

hey man i love the game i think this is the first comment ive ever left for any games i could be wrong though but my real problem with this game is the rate of fire needs to increase because when theres like 50 zombies on screen and im only shooting once a second it does me no good and i get killed almost instantly

It's definitely a different type of game focusing more on how to shoot than where to which I found refreshing. I also like the achievement bonuses, but the tutorial should mention something about how to activate them. I played 4-5 times wondering why I still felt so weak because I didn't know I had to select them. Also, I wish I could see what level all my upgrades were and how much ammo I have left on piercing and hybrid bullets without having to switch to that gun.
All level upgrades are shown in the pause screen. Press P or the Pause/Stats button on the left. - Added ammo info under the buttons.
