You have to play each map multiple times to stand a chance. For example the enemy could come from left or right, you have a 50% chance to guess right. Yet, if you guess wrong, your castle will take so much damage that it is almost guaranteed loss. Meanwhile it is next to impossible to rush since the enemy has defensive bunkers.

AM I COMMANDING AN ARMY OF RETARDS???? please give me the usual options of "attack anything in sight", or "heal units first, buildings later". Also, +2 bucks every never and the 30 cap/unit count reeeally gets me riled...

I have a huge problem with the Priests they act too stupid in my case and here's why. They would rather heal someone who's almost at full hp then a guy who has about 10 hp, they would also rather heal the castle then each other. I would like it if you could add a button where selecting a group and click an icon they would get into a battle formation (Priests at the back, Archers in the middle, Soldiers in front, ect.) With different types of formations. The formations would kind of be the same but different shapes for some reason. With this they should move as the selected formation.
Box - Soldiers in the front lines followed by Archers with Priests behind them.
Diamond - Soldiers in a Diamond formation with Mages behind them would be Archers and/or Priests.
Circle - Soldiers around Archers that incase Priests or other range casters.

I find the ideas with the quests abit annoying. Such "Archievment" things are abit overused and for myself it annoys me that i have to do such tight objectives to get permanent bonuses :s is that really neccesary?

there would be some indicator: for example if any building was touched ACHIEVEMENT should be already "marked" as canceled etc;

This game reminds me so much of Warcraft 3.... Ah memories, funny thing is I killed my first troops during the tutorial (Tutorial= When you use Thrall, First troops= Three "Grunts") Well they DID come out of nowhere....

Getting it so your base takes no damage is so stupid hard when there are guys that will just run right by troops and attack base. I mean c'mon thats just bs

I would enjoy the last two challenges if it didnt involve knowing the level by heart, the game mechanics by heart, etc. Now i'm just frustrated by the game :(

Uh...little flaw here....when I build a tower - why in the world can't I destroy my own tower? I'm forced to live with where I built it for the rest of the level unless it's destroyed? :( Ew.

why dont i get to keep any of my upgrades from my tech tree! its realy frusterateng when im fully upgraded then i start the next level and i have nothing. it makes it just about impossible to play the harder levels and makes replaying levels useless. so make a update that makes it so i can keep my upgrades. and if you think ythat makes it to easy then double the prie of the upgrades two

So, the challenges on L14 and 15 are basically jokes right? They're impossible even on the easiest level. Perhaps they're theoretically possible if you had perfect control of your troops (so that they wouldn't destroy the enemy castle before the surrounding towers) and you could slow down the time to 1/2 speed or slower. Has the developer ever passed those secondary missions on L14 or 15?

I like this game a lot despite its flaws. Just FYI: the highest possible legal score is: 224,100 (540 + level x difficulty x 1,000) playing on hard difficulty and getting the most actions per minute possible. This is obviously crazy and working to get a perfect score would be a lot fairer if APM didn't count towards it. Regardless, I've played this the most out of any Kongregate game. Big thanks to the author and would love to see a 'fixed' version out sometime but not before the Orcs campaign!

i like the game but even the easy setting is kinda hard to do all secondary missions, so far i have not been able to do some like level 5.....

This is an embarrassingly candid rip-off of Warcraft II: Orcs and Humans. Without the funny voices when you click on units. I will grant you, it has waves of units and quests, and no separate buildings for the tech tree, but good grief. The orcish towers even LOOK the same.

O, and please mod this up so others can see: You can aim towers just like units. This is very helpful on the rock monster levels. However, you cannot double click towers to select all of them. So, choose each tower, click on the rock monster. Three towers fully upgraded wipe out rock monsters in quick order.

Mission 13 was the first one where going with just the 3 basic units failed me. For me what worked was fully upgrading my wizards. At quest 13 the biggest problem is the big volume of enemies and the shotgun like action of some fully upgraded wizards helps a lot.
