This game is great.
Not only does it keep you constantly active, but it also has a strong strategic element.
I've been glued to the screen playing this for hours. Multiplayer would be even better, because an AI only knows so much.

One of the best games on Kongregate.
Add multiplayer, replays, expand it a bit and it can compete with some 'Big' sports games :)

5/5 Well done. I loved the original speedball and this rocks. I would pay to play 'crunchball 4000' if you put time into a few more features. Multiplayer, ability to swap player positions, greater upgrade flexibility (individual player upgrades?), and needs to make single player harder, especially in division 1, I am no ace but i won every match on my first go. But this version is still my favourite sports game on this site.

Wow I feel like I have played this game before??????? oh yeah SPEEDBALL. This is a reasonable remake and kudos to the dev for doing it as it was a classic game (bit of Brutal Deluxe) I wish it was a little more like the original with power ups and bonus stars injuries on the pitch etc. Good effort though dev.

So i agree this should have multiplayer!!!! and this is the best computer game ive played in years! commentating would be nice but multiplayer or even online matchups would make it the best computer game ever..better graphics would be tight

The people in the gam have to be really strong. When you upgrade tackling the other teams player flies 25 yards on a hard tackle! Very realistic. But yet the greatest sports game ever made!!!! 10/5.

I'd like to have more stats. How many goals each player score would be nice. Also I'd like to be able to design my own formation. And in game achievements. This one might be the game I've played the most, together with GemCraft chapter 0

How does this work I scored from Half-Court (assuming it's a court not a field) and it was only 82.2 yards, I looked at the Longest Goal that was ever scored and it was 914... 82x2 does not equal 914 it equals 164...

I find it's easier if I just pass it to a fast player and run around with just him rather than pass it around. You can dodge tackles pretty easily once you get used to changing direction.

Just for anyone going for the two medium badges, they don't actually have to be during a career game. You can make a custom 3 minute game against the worst team for example, practically guaranteeing that you score 5 goals and score from 50 yards.

Where's the button that makes the team-mates not wobble around and just let the opponent with the ball coast through to the goal? The game would be so much more fair if I could find it. Thank you.

Great game. Fast and action packed. However, the speed of the game itself combined with rather uncomfortable positioning of allied AI players during the match renders all but the broadest strategies moot

Not sure if any one else had this problem, but my keys kept sticking. (my guys would constantly move in one direction randomly) besides that, great game idea.

Ok its official I LOVE THIS GAME. The gameplay is enjoyable and I got the first 3 badges on my first game. Whats not to like about that???
