I think it's more effective to ignore the small states and immunize the big ones as soon as possible. It helps with revenue. Also, closing all travel except roads is an effective way to prevent random outbreaks occurring away from the infected zone.

I think it is sort of strange how people can become infected again after the state has been vaccinated. That must be one weak shot then, considering nearly the whole population of Idaho died in five days of getting theirs. Also, America should buy out Madagascar and claim it as a new state. So if something this severe really does happen, we can all hide there and hope the virus doesn't become smart enough to figure out how to achieve the Impossible badge from Pandemic 2.

My policy is "victim denial". Ignore the infected people and isolate them as effectively as possible, just like the real government would do if !!15%!! of the US was dead.

To sum up this game... 1. Stop all airports/ship ports. 2. Buy time for Vaccination, keeping high populated areas low in infection. 3. Vaccinate everything that has high population, starting with infested areas first. (If an infested area has a population less then 1million, ignore it.) Keep in mind that areas with hospitals DO NOT need to be vaccinated, the hospitals will do it automatically. [The Goal of the game is to win by vaccination %]

I got almost every one immune and few dead with no infected but the dumb asses in Minnesota (which was the farthest away from any infected Countries) started to riot and loot then the rest of them followed suit and I lost due to panic. I would have nuked them to teach the others to behave......... 4/5

Tips:
-Washington's Seaport always leads to early-game headaches. Close it. While you're at it, close any other air/seaports in non-infected areas.
-Florida is always a bitch. Roadblock it and hope it stays down.
-Military support + Vaccine = 2-day statewide immunity.
-Never let the virus get to the midwest. A lack of hospitals and an abundance of roads makes for a tough battle
-Form lines of healthy, immune states to stop the spread

How to get the Iceberg Achivement:
I did research. There was an operation Eisberg that happened on April 1. Beat the game on any difficulty on that date. The screen might look all messed up. People on the Kong forums HAVE done it before.

So I saw that one of my orange areas suddenly turned dark green... Then I realized it was becuase all the infected people died.

Wtf. There was less than 5000 people infected in the whole country (and they were all in California) and then people decide they want to riot NATIONWIDE (which is apparently NOT on my side) and the country reaches 100% panic. That was so stupid.
