Description

Hashi is a classic Japanese puzzle game. Each game of Hashi presents a map of circles containing numbers, called "islands". The number within each island determines how many lines, called "bridges", must be connected to the island. To win, all of the islands must be interconnected with the correct number of bridges in one continuous chain.

How to Play

Mouse over an island, and possible paths will be displayed. Click on a possible path to build a bridge.

There are a lot of comments about the puzzles not being unique. The reason for this, is that the puzzles are randomly generated. For the puzzles to be unique, they must be pre-generated and solved to eliminate multiple solutions. I chose to provide endless variation instead of trying to eliminate multiple solutions.

Good version of game. Agree with sgtdroopy's suggestions. Also, prefer boards to have single solution, these frequently have multiple correct configurations.

There also needs to be a way to see what islands are connected beyond simply trying to follow the bridges with your eye.

If there's no unique solution, how can you consistently apply any strategy? Whenever I get stuck, there's the nagging question of whether it's because I haven't searched deeply enough, or just because there are multiple actions that will work equally well. It kills the enjoyment for me.
