If you want to win, you have to avoid killing the people as much as possible. They're mean, but they're innocent. Kill the statues instead. You probably can't avoid killing the first skeleton, though, who is your friend from the beginning, and thus life sucks anyways.

Ok, I tried, but crappy controls, platform that's hideously boring, and music and sound effects that make me want to blow my brains out... I can't take it any more. 0 stars if I could.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the crappiest, loosest controls ever built into a game in the history of time, and the fact that you can't kill those mfing skeletons but you can't move on if you happen to get around them makes for a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry boring game. Yawn.

oooh why is this soooo very sad :'( you should make a part 2 though . the game's really cool with the story and all .

Thanks JenovaSYNTHESE! I am really touched when I see the "Go Home" scene! It seems that it is the most "positive" ending :) the BG music is still sad, though...

after all i got these different ways home yet, but all resulted in the same way. 1) Just passing statuas, kill a few people leave statuas out. 2) reach the laser thingy without killing any humans but all statuas (the guy sais thank you, but the ending remains the same). 3) after seeing the mirror guy i guessed it could be that he likes the skeleton statuas anyhow, so i got to the mirror room without killing anything. but again neither the copying guy's text nor the end changed.

okay, it was try four and five and i figured out how to pass that big gap: :::SPOILER::: when you walk back normally, the idle guy tells you you can run by tabbin a direction a couple of times. with this info you can pass the gap by sprinting, turn around and shoot in the direction where you came from to give an extra boost (it is easy, when you figured it out one time). you get a way with some more undead statuas, but in the end you reach your home deminsion with a creepy demon-thingy that copies you.

now, after my third run, i got to the energy thingy by killing all skull demons (guys with black eyes in the shadow dimension) and let all living guys alive (which was exspecially hard by the jumping living guy where i had to shoot a block). after the last skully died, the guy in the end said Thank you. i looked beyond at that unpassable gap, but it didnt change, so i returned home and all was alive, except the first guy you had to shoot to pass. but why is there still the same ending phrase?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well I thought I was close to getting the good ending (found your partner but couldn't figure out how to get past them) but since it said "go home" I figured I'd try that... but when I got back they were still dead. Any hints? D:

The language they speak looks like Russian text. (I know its just English made hard to understand, but it looks a little like it) Nice gameplay, even though a little buggy. 4/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's clever how the developer didn't give you all of the instructions, and that you had to figure out by yourself that you can get a boosted jump by charging in midair, along with other facts. My only complaint was the text, which I couldn't read... I still rate the game 5 out of 5 stars!

Killed all the skull heads, didn't kill any good guys except for the first one that you can't get past; saved the dude's sister, and I even made it to the weird mirror place where the guy says to go back home. Still got the same ending, but it was nice to see everyone still alive.
Did I miss anything?

simple gameplay, but challenging because you have to charge up before attacking and the skeletons are fast and annoying. I liked the deciphering. It's actually very easy if you pay attention. People who don't like the decipering and the challenging skeletons and the demensions, it's part of the game. It wouldn't be good and challenging without it. Jumping to certain places are hard at first, and so is deciphering. You get use to it after a while and it's easier and more enjoyable.

It looks good, because it's different and probably has a meaning... but it took too long to figure out what they were saying, and sometimes I couldn't tell at all, so in the end I had no idea what was happening and gave up. But change this and I think it's be really good!

good gameplay and storyline, but it would be a lot better if the text was easier to understand. I'm fine with a little deciphering, but if you are going to scramble things up, at least make it consistent, or else more obvious. What's the point of including text if no one else can read it? Conservation of detail is our friend.

@mithost it's a game where not everything is spoon fed to you. where you have to actually think and figure out the controls, the theme, etc etc.

5+♥. One question/complaint: is it possible to get to the ledge on the far right? I've tried sprint-jumping til my fingers were numb to no avail.

Here are a few problems. 3 seconds of immobility to attack a monster that notices you soon after you open the door, and moves as fast as you do while you are evading them. Being hit once makes you lose any item you are carrying. 5 seconds are required to change dimensions, something that you cannot do if an enemy spots you. If you change dimensions while holding an item, you lose it. In-game directions are illegible outside a few vowels. The music is repetitive, low quality, and leaving me regretfully leaving it on because the other sound effects are not horrid. Once again, lack of direction left me clueless about the fact that you jump higher in the dimension where you don't need it. I give this game a 2/5, just because it could have been a godsend of a game if competent, honest testers were present.

I liked the game, but I can't tell whether I actually won or not, and that really wrecks it a bit. It looked like a good concept, but... you might want to be a bit less ambiguous than that. The final words looked like "But it was already too late... the end"
Also, you definitely want to tighten up the controls a bit. It felt like there was a bit of a lag between what I did and what happened. Take these into account, and I'm sure you can turn it into an excellent game. Good luck, and I hope to see more from you soon :)

Very cute, and even for once it did feel very artistic. The simplicity of the world and the way you have to guess what they say was very well thought. Good job.

hey, i found a bug letting me just go through all the areas while being invisible so it pretty much ruined it for me...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
well...i won. not sure how or why, but i did. fun game. i liked the feeling of just being thrown in with no idea what to do or why to do it.

... Is it bad to comment on my own game?
The language used in the game is not a mirror image, it is not a code whose pattern can be reliably deciphered, and it is not supposed to coddle you into understanding it. I hope you can still appreciate it as it is :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If I understood what they were saying, then I would have gotten the story throughout, and not just at the ending...but awesome anyways!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
May i ask what language this is in? Or is this also part of the loneliness and fear im supposed to escape? Its a pretty decent game otherwise. Cheers! =)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It is really hard to understand what the words say in the game. It seems like it could be with a nice story and gameplay, but I get stuck shortly after beginning and have no idea what I'm doing.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Good Game, Good idea, but i'd suggest using the *same* letter replacements accross the board, so when somone figures out the pattern, they can figure out *all* the instruction.
