I am listing some improvements I'd like to see in the Critter Forge auction house. First of all, there's no sorting method of any kind. I would like to be able to click a button or pop down at the top to show some sorting types and what not. Also, a search bar would help. I know nobody likes randomly searching the list for the specific critter or sample they want. Next, I would like all auctions to be able to be viewed. Maybe a next page button at the top and bottom of the screen could help this. All the auctions should be listed one way or another. After that, maybe a cancel auction button for the seller in case they decides he doesn't want to sell whatever they were selling. It may be correct, but the adding time every time someone bids is quite annoying. Unless I missed anything, this is all I wanted to say. Please press + if you agree with these changes.

I dont understand the need to run this off servers completely. There are similar games out there and the core of the game - traveling, battles, lab, etc - could be done just inside the flash with programmed items (ie, computer generated opponents). It's only if you want to challenge other real people that you would need a server. so why not make it easy on everyone and have a contained game and then a multi-player area? In this, you would satisfy those just looking to see what the game is and get a badge, and then those truly competing would have less users on the server load - win all around.

Yeah first fight, lvl 8... And the safari my lvl 4 moth gets his butt whooped by a lvl 2 fish?!?! Ugh They don't really teach you how to not get ur butt kicked in this game... Plus its slow as heck... Game should be more offline... Less communication with the server :o/

There needs to be some way to put notes on a critters information or stat page, same way you can with samples. That way you don't have to keep information about its genetics in just its name, making it "mothxfish ii", and being able to give them real names. And instead just having a little text box on their info page saying, "Second generation of Moth + Fish. Needs XYZ apps to become super material."

Getting the badges as quickly as possible: 0. Make sure your pet has an offensive starting skill. 1. Finish the tutorial. 2. Buy several +5 Shampoo and Discus, and use them when your pet drops to 95 health/happiness. 3. Fight in Coliseum (Quick Fight) against opponents with about the same level as yours and lowest rank as possible. 4. Every level increase your starting skill level, making sure you don't make it go over the "PP" limit because you'll brick your skill. Don't get a second skill. 5. Once you're level 10, look for higher level opponents that have Rank E because they were likely abandoned, so they'll have 0 health and happiness, which will make it much more likely for you to win. The higher the level, the higher the exp. 6. Whenever you get a new trait try to get the ones that increase hit and strength, no matter the side-effects. Using this strategy I got to level 19 by the end of my free drinks, and got to level 20 soon after.

Here are some suggestions on how the auctions should be fixed:
1) Tell us when listing the auction BEFORE typing a price in, what the minimum is.
2) Allow us to choose different times, such as 8 hours, 24 hours, 3 days, etc. There shouldn’t just be a 24 hour period only available.
3) As a buyer, when I get outbid, send me an email, or a popup if I’m in game, to let me know that I’ve been outbid. Not only will this benefit the buyer by actually knowing that they’ve been outbid, but will help the sellers as well as it will help create more bidding wars.
4) As a buyer AND seller, when the auction is complete, an email letting us know that the transaction has completed (or not completed and why), who won, the winning bid, etc. would be VERY helpful.
The game in my opinion relies a lot on the auction house, and there are VAST improvements that can be made on this playing field.

Alright... WHEN I REFRESH THE COLLISEUM I DON'T WANT 3 OF THE 6 GUYS THAT WERE THERE BEFORE I REFRESHED... Just saying, it is REALLY annoying to have to fight a guy 10 levels above me just to fully refresh the colliseum rather than refreshing and getting most of the same guys that were there before. UGH

it would be nice if u could go into the plane without paying because it kinda gets on ur neveres having 2 go in arena and fight to go on a plane to fight :P part from that 10/10

The more I play, the more I feel like Skills could really use multiple "and/or" conditions.. like for instance, if you have a buff skill and an attack skill, you can set the attack to higher priority but only use it when you have a positive condition, OR when enemy's hp is below 10% (that way for instance, if the enemy critter is really low on health, your critter won't waste time buffing himself.. he'll go for the kill instead)
Although it could be really tough to code

I used to play this years ago when there were a good hunk of players online at all times
now i come in an theres 7 players counting myself.. did it get just that hard to keep up or something?
i like the concept.. but if you dont play for 2-3days your critters pretymuch lose all their stats and money isnt that easy to get at the start which makes buying of items kinda hard so youll be losing a good long time before you get back on your feet

RevealingHail5, never played pokemon, but based off what you said, I can say yes, more or less. When you join a synd you can put one of your critters in to each of the tiers if there is space. Then, when your synd fights other synds, all the critters fight each other (synd vs synd). Was this more or less what you wanted to know?

Some useful tips 1: Feed your pets. The wrong food slows down stam regen, and no food can make it take as long as 2 hours per point, while the right food will get you 1 stam per 10 minutes. 2. Upgrade your feeder. This is cheap. 3. Play the coliseum a lot before ever bothering with a Safari. 4. In the coliseum, always choose higher paying fights: you will get experience for a loss vs a stronger opponent, and the money you get for losing a $100 fight is greater than the money you get for winning a $30 fight. 5. You won't start with many skills, but one high level skill can make your pet pretty effective until you can afford to buy more space and start breeding. 6. Don't bother with waiting for full stamina except for safaris. 7. Keep your pets healed and happy or they will not win fights. 8. Get the items that restore a set amount of health/happiness(i.e. the shampoos and flying discs) instead of the percentage based ones. Plus this if you think it is useful, please.

wait our critters get get unhappy when they sleep but we cant make them happy when they are asleep? if they can't get happy when they sleep then they shouldn't be able to be unhappy

Okay at this point, I notice that there is a lot of mutations and stuff, and that a sample can have ALL kinds of diff effects that can't be told just by looking at it... (such as generation, some trait mutations, etc.) We 100% NEEEEED a way to label our samples (maybe eggs and critters too? :D) as to where they came from... Thanks for reading. ^^

There are a LOT of things that should be taken out off the servers... why can't I go questing without having to wait for the server connect?

Love the game, auction place needs work (like being able to host more, buyouts for quick sales), needs a trading area to trade with other players, and needs a dueling area to duel the people in chat talking smack haha.

maybe a hotel that your pets can stay in for a certain amount like if you have to go on a vaction and no computer or virus or something

Tip: DONT use any of the egg accelerators or instant stamina packs. Wait til you get a tier 2 or better yet tier 3 creature. Youll save yourself hours in the future. Use the stamina packs on a tier 1 and youre only getting 5 more fights, wait til you get a new breed and you can get 2+3 more fights each use :). And save all your eggcelerators til you get a tier 2 and you will instantly get your tier 3.
