Under rating threshold (show) Clearly a lot of developers don't understand how to properly implement micro transactions. If you want to go that route, anything that can be bought through micro transactions should be available in game normally, either through earning or paying in game currency, or to speed things up for those who don't want to wait can pay for, but don't do this for game time, or at least drop the time it takes to get more game time. Seriously I shouldn't have to pay to unlock recipes, it could be that getting to a certain level or using some amount of in game currency with the option to pay to unlock early.

Under rating threshold (show) Great game. One of the best merchant type games on the internet. The trouble is it falls victim to the same flawed formula most web browser games attempt. If you were to make the game less token dependent and simply use ads or something instead, you'd make more money and the players would enjoy your game more. We can tolerate an ad in the corner and a 30 second video while the game loads. We can't tolerate paying to play this when we could simply download WoW and open a shop in there if we wanted to pay to be a merchant. The reason Youtube is so successful and still free to use is because it uses advertisements instead of making people pay to watch videos like megavideo or something. + So the de

Under rating threshold (show) I want to talk about business. You know how to make money out of a GREAT game like this one? NOT by harrassing the players every five actions with the need to purchase more coins or kreds. That is the WORST thing you can do, it just drives people mad and make them want to stop playing right away (don't believe me? Read the other comments.). Want to know what works? PUTTING ADVERTISEMENTS ON IT. I am pretty sure you'd get a much better deal and your game would be rated 4.5+ with that change.

Under rating threshold (show) Why is that I can spend a week (in real days) of playing and then someone can walk off with all I earned and more in one theft? While I have some other issues with the Sept. 6 update, this one is making me wish to quit playing; any game that caters to bullies loses my interest. I hope someone at Edgebee is reading this: I was going to donate a little cash to you guys for all the hours of fun...but then you took the fun back, so I will use that cash on XBLA. My loss is your loss.

Under rating threshold (show) I'd gladly pay to play this game...once. The idea that you can buy the top level package (Mythril starter pack) and STILL have to spend thousands of tokens unlocking content is criminal. You make a good product, I'm happy to support you, but not when you act like this. This game will go the same way as Critter Forge: people will be excited at first, but interest will wane as people see how much you try to gouge us. Sure you'll make a few bucks up front, but you are ruining your reputation with your customers.

Under rating threshold (show) I don't comment much on this website. I only do when I feel a game is exceptionally fun to play and worth praise. This game is exceptionally fun to play, but unfortunately I'm not praising it at all. Waiting to play every few rounds (with the option of paying to play, which is despicable on a website like this) severely interrupts the flow of the game and makes me not want to touch it anymore. It's frustrating. I understand as a developer that produces quality games, you deserve what monetary compensation you manage to receive for your creation, however your egregious implementation of token demanding mechanics destroys the integrity of your product. Sorry, but it's just such a shame for such a unique and captivating game.

Under rating threshold (show) I share the feelings of many other people that the game is a bit broken in the amount of money necessary to actually pay to play and how frustrating it is to try and play with out paying. But what really stuck out to me that I don't see too many people talk about is the guild system. Its essential to the advancement of a store to have a guild, and yet there is no place to post a guild message, no option to mail a letter to all guild members in the mail page, no guild chat, no "apply for guild" page,.... no support for guilds at all. Its like they were a last minute addition that someone stuck in without the time to actually make them a fluid part of the game.

Under rating threshold (show) I wonder if creating a game is really this easy... otherwise I couldn't explain why someone would waste time and efforts into a game and then going all the way ruining it just cause of greed. And it's not like it's the first time, I've played Sorcery Quest for quite awhile and I've been a token user there until they started to ask for my inner organs (don't know about Critter Forge, but I guess it's the same). I mean, you make a game with a nice colorful graphic, with original and addicting gameplay and then you decide to ask for tokens for every single breath players take while playing; with less asking for tokens all of your games would have a lot more players, a 4.5+ rating here on Kongregate and you would have a better reputation and probably even a better income than now. I know you can play without tokens if you want, but the game loses all its enjoyableness that way. Just saying.

Under rating threshold (show) Well, I can understand that advertisments don't give you enough money to make a living out of it but did you ever think about a mix? Tokens, okay, but less please. Add some commercial stuff, decrease the amount of tokens we, as gamers, need to purchase ingame stuff. I mean, there's no point in spending 50$ on ingame tokens if I can buy stuff like StarCraft 2 or, to stay with the merchand game stuff, the guild one and two, for less money. You have to earn money but just stop do be as unfair as you are. Apart from that, the game is amazing. You did a great job here so don't ruin it ;)

Under rating threshold (show) I have to agree with so many others: the balance between basic and premium content makes the game less than fun. I don't object to premium content, but it is such an enormous part of this game, and you have to spend so very much to unlock even a fraction of the content that I might as well go to the store and buy and real game with better production values. Idea 5. Execution: 4. premium content brings the rating down to 2, though.

Under rating threshold (show) Man, if you're going to make a game that's so dependent on tokens, at LEAST give players some sort of daily token package or something. If you want to make a few extra bucks off a game, do it with ADVERTISEMENTS. People wouldn't mind watching a twenty second ad, but they DO mind being driven mad with being pressured to spend a few bucks every 10 actions or so. Kongregate is SUPPOSED to be a site where you can play "free online games" they should stop with these stupid Kreds, They're really ruining the site...

Under rating threshold (show) So originally I thought everyone was just complaining because they needed tokens to get things done more easily, which i dismissed because i don't mind going the extra mile and getting the items the hard way, then I came across the clock, the clock that wont let you play anymore unless you wait X amount of minutes or pay tokens, yep that ruined it. Why would you put a game like this on kong? Games like these should be reserved for facebook, Id rather play this game for a few hours and be happy with it rather than end up having to play it for days and days and just get more and more aggravated. Without the tokens it would be my favorite game, I was really looking for something close to a pawn shop game for the longest time and this one satiated my craving, oh well greed is a funny thing sometimes.

Under rating threshold (show) I thought that people were just whinging about the whole token thing and didn't find it that bad, right up until it forces you to wait between days, but gives the option to pay not to wait. One of the worst ideas ever. I'm torn between giving a high rating for gameplay, but a low rating as I don't think that a game forcing you to pay should be rated highly on a free games website. I'll save my higher ratings for games that respect the gamer.
