I think that sometimes, when bouncing from orange blocks, you don't get the blue gems because you're going too fast or something.

Nice concept, but a bit repetitive, and the hit detection is awful. I've had the ball fall through blocks and shoot directly through gems.

Games are getting really crappy lately in here, and not just this game, but a lot of the new ones.

I always hated those levels in platform games composed of little bits of land punctuated by the cliche bottomless-pit-to-oblivion. This is like a whole game based around those levels. Still, 3 stars.

hmmm, the idea is great, and i kinda like it. However, as many people said, it is pretty boring. However, i give it 5 because i liked the going through blocks

PLEASE READ, I'M THE CO-AUTHOR
First off, thanks for all the comments everyone, greatly appreciate the feedback and compliments.
For those of you with issues with the collision detection, please listen. First off, you are meant to go through blocks, it's not a glitch, it's a core feature in the design of the game, it's meant to be that way. As for collecting gems, the collision was programmed to be pixel perfect, in this case when you experience issues it's because we made it TOO exact.
IF YOU ARE PASSING THROUGH A GEM WHEN GOING UP AT IT, TRY FALLING DOWN ONTO IT, YOU WILL THEN BE ABLE TO COLLECT IT.
We are aware of what flaws this game does have and we will address all of them in the sequel when the time comes. For now, please read the instructions and enjoy the game for what it is, thanks a ton.

Not terrible, not amazing - I like the idea, but can't get much enjoyment out of it myself. 3/5 though, for the idea and execution.

would someone explain what this problem with collision detection is? someone who has actually read the instructions of the game i mean.

*sigh* the collision doesn't have so much 'fail' as a need for precision. its what is SUPPOSED to make the game more difficult.. its not meant to be a walkover game that you can do in 5 minutes... if you want that, play ski free...

I found the game fairly interesting. I think it deserves more credit than it's getting. As for complaints of 'i obviously hit the gem' well, then that's why it bounces... because sometimes you dont... good game and nice levels :) 5/5 (i would rate 4.5)
