how are you suppose to max out the hero's parameters if you need a total of 105 stars and you get 40 from level ups, 20 from achievements, and 15 from the secret shop? fix the amount received for level ups?*

And now it's perfectly clear why you have to go Rambo on their rotten asses instead of nuking them. There would simply be to many surviving Zeds because they can magicly evade all kinds of aoe damage.
Well statistically, you can miss the with a shotgun on short distance. Point taken. But how can you miss a Zed that is standing in the middle of the flame of the flamethrower? All together a good game with room for improvement.

Good game that could have been a great game. But there are way too many small problems: boss dialogues; magnets only affect money; drops outside the screen; only WASD (problems for non-US keyboards); impossible achievements (maxing hero level); some bugs (I got infinite ammo for some weapons if I kept shooting); counter-intuitive stuff (e.g. missing with the flamethrower); and lastly, the vampire boss has an attack which cannot be avoided (teleporting + electricity) and that's extremely frustrating.

How about not making us sit through the boss dialogue every time we play a level? It really interrupts the flow of the game, especially when I'm trying to shoot my way out of a horde of monsters when it happens.

I think the option of arrow keys would be good. Personally I dislike WASD keys, because I have an AZERTY keyboard, makes it's difficult to use WASD. Arrow keys are far easier.

It has a lot of potential, but at the moment it's a good reason to keep being tired of shooters. It makes some of the biggest mistakes in the genre, like walking over a gun of the same type as you using atm not refilling ammo, enemies walking around where you can't see them due to the camera angle, quests that are needed for the already extremely grindy lvl gain being of the type you can't do since the weapon isn't unlocked (I got the SMG one as second new quest) and so much more. Shame, really.

When loading a level I'm stuck standing still. Can't move, 'wasd' doesn't do anything. Obviously keyboard works or I couldn't type this. Mouse works in game, I can still shoot.

I think it would be good if once you'd got as far as the boss on a level if the next time you clicked on it you had the option of playing the level again or just getting to the boss because it's getting really tedious now playing the whole level before the boss turns up

Agree with Ralfo: would like to have Arrow-Keys as an option. Also agree with others in wanting to skip dialogue when it comes up. Otherwise, great game.

I was just thinking this... If you have say a Shotgun... and you pick up another shotgun... Why not just let it refill your ammo?

I seem to have lost the ability to load this game past the mofunzone loading screen. I just get a white screen with the upper-right options drop-down menu.

The survival mode is really boring. Go boost it a bit, because i kill everything in like 5 secs and they take 20 to spawn the amount i killed. :>

@officerK don't know about the save game, but the qulity can be adjust ingame: just hover the yellow triangle in the top right corner; you can change quality with the most left button. That being said, i encounter the same issue than you: on high quality the character stops shooting when there are too many enemies on screen.

I don't mind when the game slows down with lots of monsters on screen (I've got a slow computer, I know), but when my gun stops working during that time...I mind that.

Anyone else have an issue where the handgun no longer shoots? I see the flare animation from the barrel but no bullets are being shot while im staring at horde of monsters

@rasher99: Your logic is amazing. What difference does ASWD/Arrow keys make? They achieve the same thing so I don't see how choosing one over the other makes you a 'noob' or a 'gamer'.
I'm a lefty. I use the mouse with my right but when it comes to ASWD/Arrow keys, the Arrow keys are more comfortable for me. Something about ASWD for moving my character around confuses my fingers when I get in a tight spot in a game. Personal problem on my part? Yeah, but having the option is always nice.

So I just loaded it up today, same computer, didn't clear the cookies, and didn't hit reset, and my save file is gone. Using Chrome. As I don't have this issue with other games, I'm thinking that Evilgeddon Spooky Max might have a bug. I'd appreciate you guys looking into this!

Found a serious issue when I would try and move while firing with the pistol, shots would not come out, even though the muzzle flash was. Great game with the exception of a few minor glitches, and that major one.

The game looks great, however, WASD might be good for querty keyboards but it's a pain in the a** for azerty ones. Could you add some control change option?

Hi guys, we've upload the latest version with control bug fixed. However, we once uploaded a
version which caused white screen issue and for those who had already opened that might encounter
save data error and their data will be reset in the new version. For those who didn't
open the white screen error are save and you can continue playing the game.

A small complaint but I shouldn't have to see the boss talking every single time...... And what was up with the secret shop? At first I thought that it was a fun little way to spend spare money on after I finished the game. But if I hadn't read one of the comments I would never have figured out IT IS ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL to get specific ones to boost your pistol and get stars....... Again, a really fun game with very intense fighting. Great stuff.

Game is pretty good and it shows a very good potential for being a really good game. I did come across a bug which I was able to duplicate on a second run through on the first level. When the boss is chasing you around the car, located in the upper right hand section near the large garbage dump, and he starts walking right, he will continue walking right until he walks off the screen. He will not return but you will hear his footsteps continuously. This unfortunately leaves you with two options: 1) keep killing and thereby grinding money till you get bored or 2) Commit harakiri and restart the level (very frustrating - especially if he was nearly death). There should also be a barrier further in for dropped weapons near the edge of the playfield because they are irretrievable if they drop nearly half off the playfield.

Having Q to call the next wave is a REAL mindf***. Every time I want to swap a weapon, my gaming experience tells me to use Q and E to change! And I end calling a swarm of monsters D:

I really like it though I sometimes get stuck on nothing for a few seconds. Like... I'll be walking and it seems like I come up to an obstacle and stop. Then It fixes itself a second later. Against bosses this is death.

you should be able to change the game to the directional keys rather than wasd. As a lefty I hate having to use wasd. Other than that great game. 4/5
