against the sword wielding enemys: use gunners in hunge number and research personal shields.
A bigger challenge were the aerial drogs, but if you upgrade everything you can (except freeze bullets, i havent tried it yet), you can shoot them down.

Gah, I'm trying play some more and maybe get a better feel for the game, but that stupid "overheating" thing is driving me up the wall. I give up.

It's not terrible. It started off with possibilities, but quickly got kinda... meh. The "overheating" thing takes a LOT of the benefit out of buying the firing speed boost. Sure I can fire a lot in a short burst, but then I can't fire at all for a few seconds, which is all it takes for a couple of those sword-wielding guards to get in and then... there's nothing you can do there, you can't fire at them, your infantry can't do sufficient damage to them. What's worse is that if you hit the "fire" button (I use spacebar) before it's cooled down, it ups the heat again, so not only does it not fire, but it takes longer to fire again! Why would it overheat if it didn't even fire? But that aside, it could use larger maps, a little more variety in the units, maybe some in-between-map upgrades perhaps. The background artwork is pretty cool, the sounds and music are pretty decent. A storyline would be nice too. It's a good try and definitely has potential. 3/5

nothing really special, since you can just find a nice angle and leave a paperweight on the space bar to get a high score

this game is the same as The Battle only space version.You research send guys ad fire gun-i see a a few things the same.same kinda style too

There was a game more fun then this, i forget what it was called >.< you get to make people and ships to fight and you get to use like a cannon and missles too, it very alike

would be a good game if my gun wouldnt have froze up so i couldnt shoot at anything and i died

Sorry this is rather buggy. You don't have a key event queue sorted so that pressing e.g. up or down interrupts firing but then it doesn't start again even if you have space held down.
Also, after the fire rate upgrade, trying to fire the gun when it is too hot overheats it without firing it! You need to make sure only firing heats up the gun otherwise the upgrade becomes a dowgrade!

omg this is the best game i ever played i give 5/5 love the battle droids but they cost a lot but i most like was the missle launchers their awsome they can att air units and ground units and the 1 that was very lame was the grenade launcher person never buy the grenade launcher it suckssssss!@!#@!#!@#

Don't get the freeze upgrade. It makes the gun do 25% damage, which prevents it from actually dealing enough damage to survive.
