Under rating threshold (show) no upgrading nonsense like engine, fuel capacity or anything else. kept it nice and tidy. one of the few games that make me say: "i dont care what objectives or achievements. i just want more SPEED!"

Under rating threshold (show) Cool game, my only complaint. When I'm cruising and I raise a level I would like to know the next objectives for the next level. Going from lvl 1 till 7 and yet your highscore doesnt count for the next level is a bit frustrating.

Under rating threshold (show) Sorry, I just had a look at the video of the full version at quickstarter. The multiplayer concept you have in mind is great. Furhter, I think the ramps and falling buildings are cool, but super sophisticated effects like domino-cascades look unfairly difficult. The race towards the sunset seems to fall to a much less important task compared to that. Remember that the player is at the limits of its reflex possibilities, dont make him/her say "this is too much for me". :) Hope for the best for this game!

Thanks for all the feedback! We've been working hard on the game for about a year now, and the gameplay you see in that video has been in beta testing for some time. We've worked hard to ensure that it's difficult, but fair. We think you'll like the result :)

Under rating threshold (show) Personally, I love the update. Spacing out tris compels you to not just fly in a straight line until you have to inch out the way of an obstacle, it makes you have to take risk if you want a high score. Also love the new map layouts, the more obstacles, the better. I also thought the screen-shake was a nice touch as well, wasn't overdone either. I do agree though that the death animation is too long, but I think flippfly knows that now. Now all we need is some multiplayer modes and ship customization.

About multiplayer/ship customization: Not sure if you'd heard, but we've implemented a new voting system our our website (www.flippfly.com) - if enough community members ask for something, it's likely we'll add it to the next round of voting, and let the people who've bought the full version decide what we do next. We've actually already added one form of multiplayer to the current voting round - and as of right now, it's beating out mod tools by a few votes!

Under rating threshold (show) It's overall a nice game, I made a break from it to write this comment. My thougths: I don't know if something changes at the higher player level ( I mean, i know powerups are added, but I don't know if scenery is, because should) but from new player point of view I think that these kind of games are HIGHLY addictive until they have something to do - achievements. My opinion is that the fun achievements are key to success. But what are the fun achievements? For sure not the one like collect x powerups y times. Someone posted earlier adding "water" levels. This could be good for adding achiev like "Distance traveled while wing is touching water" etc. What do you think about it? To comment other aspects of game: Graphic is really cool, It helps focus on gameplay, that kind of graphic never gets old :) Music maybe should getting a lil bit heavier while the ship is getting higher speed. Overall I see great potential in this game: And sorry for bad English!

Hey thanks for the great feedback! We're definitely working on making more interesting things happen in the game, and this will also help us keep the achievements/objectives more interesting too! Right now we're running a Kickstarter to try and help fund us through to the end of development - the plan is to open up the world-building tools to modders, so there'll be an endless stream of new content to enjoy :)

Under rating threshold (show) I only have one complaint on this (and I'm not sure if it's just with me), that this game faces the problem of others with objective/achievement systems face too. Suppose you're on a good roll, and you're on lvl 1, and manage to get, let's say, 100k points. Why do you need to do that again for lvl 2 and 3? I've proven I've done it. A variable to save your highscore at something could be really easy. It feels frustrating when you level up after a really good run and you have an objective you just beat. It's a great game tho. 4/5

Under rating threshold (show) Graphics are really great, I like this idea of 'beautiful minimalism'. Extremely high speed makes me put all my skills to use, and that's what I like in games. I'd like to see a little more diversity in terms of pickups maybe. 5/5.

Under rating threshold (show) Fullscreen and/or any sort of Gamma setting would be appreciated. The graphic style and lack of contrast are a part of the challenge of the game, but the default lighting profile can't take all monitor profiles and ambient light conditions into consideration.

Under rating threshold (show) Hey guys! On windows, in the lower right hand corner, click the volume control for your computer, then click "mixer." This allows you to mute your browser (with the game) without muting itunes/whatever. Or you can open youtube in one browser and the game in a second browser, and mute the browser with the game but not the one with youtube. There, now you can listen to music and mute any game, without worrying about whether the game has a mute button. Now stop complaining about there not being mute buttons and start playing! Oh, and sorry mac users, there is probably a way to mute any game on a mac, but I don't know how.

Under rating threshold (show) So I was driving along in this game, I had just barely started a round; and for some reason my ship blew up WITHOUT (caps are there for emphasis not rage) hitting anything at all. I have no idea why that happened, or even how it happened. Flippfly, this might be a bug that you will have to look into. Overall, this game is still great. The multipliers do make it nearly impossible to get to 80K. Maybe if the lvl 3 requirement was to get to 30K or even 40K, then it would be right about perfect for a challenge, yet not too difficult to obtain. (I've played before multipliers were installed, and it was much easier then to get 80K than it is now.) I love this game! It was great right off the bat, and now it's just getting better and better! Thanks for creating a game that has such a cool idea and great graphics!!!!

Under rating threshold (show) I love the heck out of this game (I wrote about it on GameArena even) but for some reason after a couple of dozen rounds the ship slows down to a total crawl? Refreshing fixes it, so it's no real bother though.
