I really like this game. I do wish that after completion you could unlock a free play mode so you could fully build and upgrade everything.

fun game. It would be cool if we could have more information on the effects of our upgrades. For example, does the wait time stay the same? What about the amount of money "extracted"? It's hard to be as strategic when we're deprived of important details.

If freeplay is an Endless mode, I want it. Playing games like this is fun, especially when you can play it endlessly and watch your place slowly reach max level and even then it is still fun to see how much $$ you can accumulate at one time.

So basically, it's tower defense, but instead of depleting HP from creeps, you're depleting cash from strip mall shoppers.
Kudos for a non-violent twist on familiar gameplay, I guess.
The game is a bit on the dull side though. Perhaps some different effects for different types of shops would liven things up.

Very easy game....tips:
get bonus 4 making every customer spend all money. start with 2 petshops, build 1 boutique in intersection, upgrade boutique, build 2 boutiques each side, upgrade corner boutique, then other 2 and build 1 more boutique, upgrade both pet shops, then build 2 more. You should be getting $1000 bonus every time plus shopping money... 2 ez

Tips:
Shoppers will never shop in the same store twice, so always have a variety of shops, this includes upgraded shops. When starting off, place the pet stores at the busiest intersections and boutiques at the other ones. If on same path, upgrade shops BEFORE buying new lower level shops. The only stores you need are: Boutique, Pet Store and Jewel store...rest aren't worth the cost/income. Get Police and Fire stations near end or when you have a lot of money to spare. Getting a store burnt down hurts, especially if it burns a lvl3 store. Or getting robbed, I went into negative cash haha.
Cool concept, though stages get long and boring...need a x3...or x10 button + achievements and badges. 3.5/5

If there was one two more days in every city I would have finished the game on the first try... but noooooo, always one day too short.

For those wanting numbers, each wave carries $30 times the wave number. Upgrades increase the money extracted by 50% of the level 1 amount (e.g. level 2 boutique is $75, level 3 is $100; level 2 and 3 pet shops are $112 and $149). For the first couple levels (except for level 1), you can get perfect on most waves using only pet shops and boutiques. It is possible to get a perfect score on every wave of the final level.

You know you're rich when you buy a computer, a pet, an ice cream cone, a newpaper, and toys and jewelery, and then go to a restaurant, all during your morning walk.

So these people that come to my shopping center have short attention spans AND deep pockets full of cash? Wherever this place is that I started up I hit the jackpot on suckers.

Great premise. I'd love to see a sequel with some added features others have already mentioned such as unique shop effects, more visible details how existing shops compare, unique shopper behaviors (for example, seeks jewelry store; bonus $ if shopper finds one). Also think police/fire stations are an interesting idea, but need rebalanced...currently they just never seem worth it. Definitely needs free play mode (possibly unlockable reward for completing) with infinite days to grow. Freeplay mode could be scored by most money made in a single day...to encourage different combinations of shops. Keep up the good work!

Note : Shoppers will never shop in the same shop twice. They wont go in the same upgraded shop neither. Make sure you have other shops and not just one shop. When you have a Jewel store just put a police station there. Fun game!

Good game. It would be nice if there was a free play mode, even if it was just after you finish the game. Also, I think adding some badges wouldn't hurt either.

I prefer the shopping street because i'ts easier. In the shopping city i'ts good too because you can build more than one same type of shop. I don't know if the police and the fire station is really nesesary becuse I didn't try it.

ok i think u should be able to upgrade ur things butt keep them next level so dont have to buy them again and again and again

@ squidandwhale when your upgrade shops it increases the ammount of people in the store and the ammount of money per good. I started the game with one pet shop upgraded and instead of making 75 dollars a person i made something like 90-95 ( they were moving too fast) so upgrades are better then massing buildings. however massing doesnt hurt.

Love the game. And I agree with Dragynwolf on the fact that this is kind of a friendly tower defence in some ways. The only thing i can see thats bad about it is theres no freeplay. + this if you agree that it needs freeplay!
