Description
Here's our homage to the old classic "Asteroids".
Being fans of arena shooters we've tried to take some of the best elements of those and mix it with the old school gameplay of asteroids.
This is pure score attack, so no shops, no missions and no real strategies as such, just power-ups and shooting. Lots of shooting.
Enjoy the destruction.
How to Play
WASD or Arrows to move, mouse to aim and shoot. Space to swap weapons and p to pause.
Developer Updates
v1.2 – Auto pause when you lose focus has been removed. A flocker teleporting on top of you never meant you lost any energy, but I’ve put a glow effect in there to show a shield kicking in. Also now checks for asteroids moving in a straight line off screen ( The cause of all the “I’ve completed the level but it just sits there” issues. There was a rock still moving, just hidden ).

Cheers :) Obviously Blasteroids and the original Stardust games were big influences on it. In an ideal world it would have been even more like Stardust.

Probably one of the best looking games on here. SO well made. This thing with the Kongregate API wedged into it would make a serious killing. I like everything about this game, part Blasteroids and part Super Stardust 95.
