Rather adult themes in this game and an interesting idea to give a backstory to the witch, the story feels much more complete now.

The sequel does still have a great story and the old woman after we saw her transforming into one over last 2 episodes looks at the end much more like a grandma then a witch, because we realize the dark process that led to that :(

So she gets a job as a servant, gets raped by the house's owner, who doesn't tell his wife (wouldn't blame him), she has the baby, and he doesn't even have the decency to let her keep the child and he just takes her and dumps her in a forest??? Well that's kindness for you!

I kinda read this with the story being that the creepy couple wanted a child, but the wife was too old, and thus the rape was planned... Though why the girl didn't get out of there right away, I have no idea.

so basically you can find extensive guides to witchcraft and magic in the middle of the woods. you just need to find a cabin.

I was a bit turned off knowing young'uns are playing this game and being fed the obviously startling and completely insulting insinuation that witches have big noses.

um some warning about the rape would be nice. Even though you don't see anything graphic. It can be upsetting. Poor witch though.
