Under rating threshold (show) Two things are bad: 1.You can go on forever after upradging your ship and flag to the max(whales, mines, seagulls give you a big boost), it makes the islands totally useless. 2. Turning mechanic. Since the way is long, it is too punishing and unbalanced.

Under rating threshold (show) @Chaos1101 It's a fallacy to say launch angle of 45 is optimal. This angle only results in the furthest distance for the initial launch. Assuming you upgrade your ship to reduce drag in water the least launch angle (15) is optimal since it results in the greatest horizontal velocity which will take you furthest with less mines, birds etc. Although really the effect of the obstacles is so large any angle between 15 and 45 will do fine, assuming you get lucky and hit all the right stuff. My main gripe with this game is it says to "avoid" sharks and islands. But all you can do is keep the boat from sinking. Maybe add something to give a little control. Firing cannons off the back?

Under rating threshold (show) This game is pretty punishing. It's a LONG way to travel to the X, and even with a maxed out ship, a bit too easy to accidentally turn too far and lose your run. Plus, there simply aren't enough upgrades available. Maybe if your progress kept between launches this distance wouldn't be too bad, but as it stands, it's too far to go in one run. (Mind you, I did it in 33 days even w/o a maxed out ship, but there were a lot of runs that SHOULD have gone a lot further.)

Under rating threshold (show) Why, with even a maxed out wheel upgrade, does this game's controls behave like some of the worst motocross games on this site? Rotation is slow to start and out of control once it gets going. To hell with the obstacles the developer bothered to put in the game like islands and sharks; they barely slow me. It's the poor controls that sink me every time.
