Once again, with Ghost waves there is a period where towers cease targeting and firing for nearly an entire second, which even affects anti-ghost towers. I love this TD series tremendously but watching one or two Ghost critters slip through because targeting died makes me a sad panda.

It should be possible to change the tower targetting AI between targeting the first creeps to enter its range AND the last. Doing so would open up more strategic possibilities in placement of the towers and more possible chain combination of effects.

rate up if you think the poison tower should shoot creeps closest to the entrance (so that it doesn't keep shooting creeps that are already poisoned)

bug: at "stealthy" some stealth units leave the screen (like cursed units they pass through walls) so i cannot finish the level...
must be the same like the "ghost" bug..

gah. after trying like 10 times to beat the second last hard stage, the one where you only start with 50 and have to juggle. I finally beat it, and perfectly, took me a bit to find how to do it well. But the level wont end because there was a glitch and one of the swarm guys just took off across the screen across all obstacles and i guess is still being counted as alive. First time ive seen the glitch, one in a million i guess. great game

Another bug... Sometimes after making a beam mega-tower, it stops shooting! It will still target and pretend to shoot, but nothing comes out. All that hard work to earn the bubbles and I'm left with nothing. Especially frustrating when it happens near the end of a level.

I always see people complaining about splitters getting around towers when they split and the lack of targeting sometimes on ghosts, and they're right to be frustrated. I never see anyone getting annoyed by towers failing to fire at all in the middle of a wave (beam seems susceptible to it), or how sometimes an entire wave will simply become invincible. Don't get me wrong, the game is fantastic, it's just marred by some really bad glitches.

Is anyone else running into the glitch where your towers just stop firing? I'll get almost all the way through a hard level and everything will just stop firing for reasons unknown to me. Any thoughts on it?

Wish there were more chances to use the mega mega towers, so far only been able to use them on the last mission. Even though they are super powerful, they take up a lot of space so its harder to place them and still use the rest of the space so it would be nice if it was possible to use them and have enemies that would require them or certain tower types to kill certain enemies (like the ghost type to the ghost towers) that way the same basic design couldn't be used on 90% of the maps.

For Basilica (3rd in the hard row) sell 7 of the towers. That lets you upgrade the remaining tower to a Sniper. That will take out the first few waves while you buy back the other towers. Buff the Sniper with 2 Fire Rate and 1 Damage Boost, and build an Area Burst on the other side, buffed with 1 each Range, Fire Rate, and Damage Boost.
For Stealthy (4th hard) I pretty much used XP Hunter's solution, except that I started with a tower at the last bend before the exit at each side so I could see when the Stealth critters were getting close.

Once again the targeting ruins this game. Towers will sometimes sit and pause and stare at the creeps as they move by. And even worse, the towers are completely unpredictable about whether they'll target first, last, or just whatever the heck they feel like.

i'd wish in next update there would be "advanced" targeting system, GHOST area burst, SNIPER tower(reload 50-75, damage 75-500, range 100-350) that can be done of normal tower. That would be Awesome

An endless survival mode would be quite nice. (An endless survival mode where you can pick any of the maps would be very nice, even.)

Would have been lovely if the massive update had fixed the massive targeting issue with ghosts. New towers, maps, and beasties are nice, but without fixing that huge problem, it makes the maps with ghosts very frustrating. Is your definition of hard "crap just not working the way the game mechanics say they should"?

The game was nice and is nice, but I'm not too impressed by the new enemies and towers. Stealth is only hard when you can't build a maze; cursed are slightly nice but die very fast, emp are only a threat in the opening and for swarms only boss groups seemed tough. As for the new towers, I didn't like them much. Beam tower could use a damage boost, higher recharge would be okay, you just want them to kill big bosses right? Confusion... it has some use if boosted to full map range, but didn't seem reliable, unlike slow. Poison should probably try infecting as many enemies as possible rather than hitting the same one all the time - has some use though. In the end I still prefer to use either snipers, or massive area burst+slow+weaken, all at full map range and speedboosted. So as said, love the game, but that's mainly because it was already great :).

If you add a 10 bubble tower (or perhaps remove one) the bug that makes creeps walk thru walls, or ghosts be not targetted, is undone because it forces a recalculation. (there are 5 levels I couldn't win without that info in a self-imposed challenge of "no snipers")

The last hard level is the only one where a mega tower is actually useful. I've tried setting them up in other levels, but by the time i get the money, it's from the final boss.

I just encountered what may be the most infuriating bug ever. A stealth enemy was somehow granted the ghost ability to go through walls, except it didn't go through the exit. It went through a different wall, making it impossible to finish the game, as one enemy is still alive. It has only happened to me on the 4th hard level and only with stealth units.

The best Mega Tower is the Beam made with one of each fully upgraded: Normal, Splash Tower, Machine Gun and Beam. Upgrade to Mega Tower, add two Fire Rate Boosts to get speed down to 1, then surround with Damage Boosts. UNSTOPPABLE

@Zero52137 (and others): The creeps that split and go through your towers is NOT a glitch or bug. It was designed that way and it is a challenge you must face. The enemies can pass through any gap that is only 1 tile wide. Towers, being 2 tiles wide, are not passable. If you have two towers placed diagonally, there is a spot there they can split through. This can be good or bad for you depending how you design your layout. At any rate though, it is part of the game.

Upon completing a hard level with lots of juggling and lots of stealth creeps, it appears as though the game doesn't recognize that all the creeps are gone now. Perhaps there's a creep in stealth mode that's stuck somewhere, but I've let this level sit for about 30 minutes now. It won't end.

I'm a huge fan of the original TD game and the original series. However, I am disappointed with this game for a few reasons. The reason I enjoyed the original and what made it compelling and fun to play was the ability to create these massive towers. You can't do that in this game! Either you don't have time or the stage will not permit it due to level design. There were two stages where I could build the mega towers but that was quite literally on the last wave and it was pointless to do so. Poor stage design, failure to adhere to what makes the game fun(massive towers) and the pesky bugs make this a poor release.

OK PEOPLE enough with the "+ If you want badges" The badges dont come from that they come from HIGH RATINGS IN THE GAMES NOT THE COMMENTS and, the game creater doesnt give there own game badges GREG DOES so from now on if you EVER see someone who says that rate the DOWN not up if you like the game and want badges rate the GAME... rate this up so everyone will know that they need to rate the game not the comments

Secret to beating the level PERFECTLY in which you only have 8 towers in groups of 4 that can't make mega towers; sell all of em but one, make it a sniper. Build up from there. :D

@goodjosh You need to juggle. You have 50 bubbles - build 4 basic towers at the entrance and always have 10 bubbles for juggling purposes. 1 exit (there are 2 on this level) must be blocked by your tower. Just place and sell it, changing enemies direction, make sure they are always attacked by your towers (use hotkeys T and S). You can place 7 towers in total at the entrance. First place area burst in the middle, then sniper towers, boost their fire rate - thanks to them you'll be able to control whole map, no stealth enemy will escape. This level is only a matter of time. :)

To beat the 4th hard level (and others) just build some towers at the entrance and block one of the paths near the exit. When the enemies are in the middle of the path, sell your blocking tower and block the other path with a tower. The enemies will turn around and pass again through the initial towers. Repeat that until you beat the level.

For a perfect game on Basilica (the one with only eight towers), the trick is that you can sell the starting towers. Sell all but one, and you'll have just enough to upgrade the one tower to a sniper. From there, build a fire rate boost and damage boost on the sniper, a slow tower with max range boost, and a second sniper.

a good combination for mega tower is a block of ROF towers, a block of beam towers, a block containing ghost splash and splash towers, and a block half of suicide and range towers

On map Framed-Out ID 27; I found a very annoying bug where multiple splitter (babes) would become invincible and not display a health bar and continue to the end without dieing, thus I must start over for the perfect. I know they are not just taking the beating because the other splitter (babes) would die first shot. My setup was (probably not the problem) put 2 'Ghost Splash' towers in front of (touching) the 'Mega Mega Tower', 1 'Slow Burst' below the 2 'Ghost Splash' (touching both 'Mega-Mega Tower' and 'Ghost Splash'), and 1 'Confuse' below the 1 'Slow Burst' (touching the bottom left corner of the 'Mega Mega Tower' diagonally, and the bottom of the 'Slow Burst). What I believe to be the problem is the 'Confuse' tower (although it could be either). I tried the level without either the 'Slow Burst' or the 'Confuse' tower and I had no problem (glitches). Please fix this bug, for those 2 ('Confuse' and 'Slow Burst')are good towers. I have sent a bug report.
