PLEASE add some sort of predictable targeting paradigm... First, last, fastest, lowest hp, ANYTHING. This game is so frustrating when you have to rely on some random number generator to decide which enemies the towers are going to attack.

amazingly frustrating to get 2/3rd of the way through a level without losing a life, only to watch a ghost fly over everything because he's suddenly untargettable. Level 44, Movin' on up, is very nearly impossible with this glitch, because the ghosts coming from each side only have a VERY short distance to go. Two ghosts flew over four fully-upgraded ghost towers that just simply refused to target them.

Please please please fix the turret aiming on ghost waves, it is soul destroying to see 20 or 30 mins of game time invested, only to see a stupid ghost drift past my level 4 towers :(

Please fix the turret aiming. I've seen a ghost fly by my sniper tower (with no other targets on screen) too many times =(

Quite disapointed how HeroInteractive replied to a newbie to the game, but never left a comment regarding the turret aiming / calculating in the top 5 posts. Or am i missing something?

Everyone's worried about the targeting, and I agree, but my other issue is...what's with the fixed levels? I mean, like, even now I'm sitting here writing a comment and not even looking at the screen because I'm not doing anything. On fixed levels the player literally does nothing after starting. You may as well just simulate the rest and tell us whether we won or lost, since otherwise I could just go to the bathroom or something then come back later and it would be seriously exactly the same as if I'd sat there the whole time.

Sniper Tower: "Hmm... I can shoot across the entire map. Is that a group of enemies with 1hp left about to leave the screen? Oh well, I'll just target this new enemy that appeared right next to me and is being fired at by all the short range towers..."

Beat the final wave of an excruciatingly long 50 wave level. The game failed to register that I had won, so I had to quit.

please for the love of god fix the ghosts-not-being-targeted glitch. it's incredibly frustrating to finish a level with 19 lives because my towers refused to shoot a ghost

You know what. You can keep your badges.... this game is not worth the frustration.
Who knows, maybe i'll finish every other game on this site someday and come back to it. But otherwise, what is the point in playing an unbalanced game repeatedly for little to no reward.

3/5. quite a few major bugs (games not ending when they should and menus staying up sometimes) Aside from that, the targeting system is horrible, targets enemy in order they appear on the map instead of closest to exit, which is a really bad idea. The targeting issues is the main issue with this game.

Having just earned the Impossible Badge, I figured I should also leave a note that will hopefully be of use (and if so, hopefully also survive in some way for others to see). There is a rule the towers follow for aiming, and that is to aim at whatever is in range that appeared on screen first. That means that the big Splitters get aimed at, first. However, if you call another wave after Splitters, before they split, they will aim at the new wave after the Big Splitters are gone, because the Little Splitters (Splittees?) appeared on screen after the new wave did. Unfortunately, appearing on screen first doesn't mean leaving screen first, especially with Ghost waves. (Also, there seems to be a bug where towers will sometimes not be able to target Ghosts for a short period of time if they get to close, until they "turn" and fire after the Ghost is past them, which can be too late.)

Amazing game (4/5) but I did notice one bug that could be fixed: Towers seem to like targeting one enemy untill it dies. That might seem like a good thing, untill at high levels when lots of enemies are onscreen and your towers spend ~6 seconds shooting an unnecessary amount of bubbles to a single, weak enemy while the other ones pass by. This could be fixed by running a background damage calc as soon as a shot fires, while visually it stays the same, that way a tower would only shoot just enough bubbles. Amazing game either way :P

This game is set up to be an elite challenge. For me the slowest setting is too fast to fully solve even medium levels. An option of a pause button would open the game up to a lot more players.

So, is there a reason for anti-ghost towers to stop targeting ghosts that flew past it? I now see from the comments that I'm not the only one with this glitch. Comments from 2010 with 900+ votes have no response from the devs and the glitch is still there. 3/5 for such poor customer service and game support.

Being able to target first or last enemies would be nice. It's aggravating when at the last of my waves one bubble slips by because every tower is shooting on the bubbles behind it.

It seems like an influx of low level accounts complimenting games that are flawed beyond belief is a trend. What happened to good quality and communication?

there needs to be a feature in which you can tell your towers which enemy to attack. I lost most of my lifes on one wave because my super tower was only targetting the last and weakest instead of the bosses who are almost out. Extremely irratating. 4/5 overall.

When making super tower things combine these:
Sniper tower
Machine gun 3
Area burst 4
Damage boost 4
and the range will be like the whole screen with rapid fire + a damage boost and I think enemies that pass by it will get damage also!!!!!!!!!!!

One normal enemy spontaneously gained the ability to fly, and just went offscreen to have a tea party. After beating all of the other waves the level didn't end, undoing almost an hour of progress :\

Most annoying Kongpanion to get a shiny version of. The Kongregate team took the most repetitive and boring games and put them into one Kongpanion. Well, at least 3 of the games were terribly boring and repetitive like this one.

i wish you could save at a wave -.- it's extremely annoying when you're constantly dying in the middle of the level and need to restart the whole level for that perfect just to use a slightly different set-up or different upgrade

For those complaining about ghost targeting problems - the solution is sniper towers beside fire-rate upgraders. Adding slow towers helps as well. The AI will target the ghost after a second or two.
