Flag this comment as inappropriateAs a musician i can also understand the game well, but the controls are to complicated for the average person, take notessimo, a good way to learn the scales through music theory, but drums and sfx are very complicated, and hard to fighure out.

Flag this comment as inappropriatewhat francobidanco said plus you should color code it to some degree so you can se roughly what is going on. its a good step in the right direction but needs polishing.

Flag this comment as inappropriateas a musician I can see that this could be quite fun but it fails on quite a few fundamental levels.
1) have a proper range of essential drum samples (kick, hi hat, snare, and maybe a few of each)
2) why waste valuable space on samples that sound almost exactly the same as each other? have a bit of variety… although have some melodic samples that are the same sound but at different pitches.
3) edit the samples properly! make sure the sounds start right at the beginning of the sample. this is vital for any drum or percussion sample.
4) a tempo slider to change the bpm.
5) as Kalimious stated, the layout/clour scheme needs to improve.
i really like what you’re trying to do but, musically, this aint got it yet.

Flag this comment as inappropriateIt’s not bad, but it’s definitely lacking. The whole UI is too… bland. I’ve forgotten what every button was by the time I placed it on the board. It needs some color coding… at least. I know it’s supposed to be a beatbox… but, man is that 1 measure of song boring, and we can’t slow the tempo down at all. Needs some work, but definitely workable. 2/5
