Under rating threshold (show) 1- Coins either last forever OR auto collect. Otherwise its a giant pain. 2- Stop moving forward every attack & stop having me miss when I'm on top of someone. 3- Unlock stuff. If I want to grind up to an awsome sword, let me. These make it very frustrating.

Under rating threshold (show) Every time I swing the sword I move forward a little bit. Doesn't take long for my opponent to be behind me. The training area has no purpose whatsoever. My left hand is most used to sitting on the ASDF keys. Not the ZXCV keys. And when I kill someone I know I will have to collect their coins in a limited timeframe. Yet I have to sit and wait for them to actually die before the coins are released. All of which would make for bad strategies if this were real life.

Under rating threshold (show) Less mentioned complaints: Vertical attack distance is too narrow, and lining up with enemies is a pain; recovery from the 'fast' attack and momentum takes too long, making it extremely difficult to turn around and hit the enemies you are right on top of (making so that characters can't walk through each other would probably help); the spells and heavy attacks do not do enough damage or have enough effect to make them viable options in battle; visibility in Ultimate is so poor that it ends up being more trouble than it is worth; action keys are reversed, putting the most used key (quick attack) on the weakest finger (pinkie); user interface requires switching from keyboard to mouse and back; Unlocks don't match money system, I've got 6 Grand sitting the the bank and the game is forcing me to waste it on potions instead of just getting better equipment. Also, some sort of dodge, roll, lunge or sprint would be nice.

Under rating threshold (show) I'm actually really sad. This game screams potential, but it seems to fall short in too many places. Most of my problems have already been stated by basically everyone, but let me reiterate them, firstly the coin issue. Collectable coins add nothing to the gameplay, only makes it more tedious. Make it either auto collect, or just give us a certain amount if we win the level. I actually don't have a problem with the ZXCV keys, but i guess you could make them rebindable to satisfy the masses. The last problem i have is attacking. I would prefer if attacking enemies knocked them back slightly, so I can still effectively combo them, keep the moving forward thing, because that logically that is what would happen. The last problem i have is with hammers. I think this is just me being nitpicky, but I would love to have them be more of a slow attacking, AOE type weapon. Oh, well, I hope you can fix the game, would be a great game if you did.

Under rating threshold (show) 1 - TERRIBLE COIN collecting system, please fix. 2 - As other people have mentioned, moving forward while attacking was a terrible idea (...theres a reason you should be able to press forward and attack or just attack...) 3 - Whats the point of training? 4 - Good game but with those major design flaws (coins and attack) ruined gameplay experience a lot more than it should [try having competent beta testers for you game before you release them...3/5 (could have been 4.5/5)

Under rating threshold (show) You've created a great atmosphere and paid much more attention to aesthetics than most flash games, but your gameplay needs a lot of work. As many people have said, the coin collection needs to go. There's no purpose for it, and it detracts from combat. The AI is also terrible; you should probably have fewer enemies with better AI, so that you're fighting a handful of competent opponents at a time and actually have to maneuver rather than just running from one to the other as they wander aimlessly.

Under rating threshold (show) 1) The enemies move faster than you do. 2) There's no reliable way of defending yourself. 3) The coin vanishing thing is really annoying. 4) Magic is almost completely useless, since it doesn't do enough DPS compared to regular attacks. 5) The controls are difficult to use, especially the item/magic buttons (I've tried to use magic many times, only to accidentally waste an item). 6) Money is almost completely useless, since you only need to spend large sums of it occasionally. 7) The training ground is useless. 8) There's no reason to have three different shops, except to make you walk further. 9) Clicking outside of the game window doesn't automatically pause it, causes lag for some people. 10) The 3d-movement thing makes it harder to accurately hit enemies.

Under rating threshold (show) There needs to be more variety in combat, such as a backwards slash. You're facing to the right, so hold the left key and do a heavy attack or something so you can actually hit the enemy behind you. You get swarmed very easily, it's bad enough you move forward when just swinging your weapon, so the enemy you're hitting is suddenly behind you. If the devs won't fix that, at least add more combat variety

Under rating threshold (show) One thing that irritates me is that all the good stuff in the shop are locked until you make progress in the arena. You should add level up system along with stats, therefore items will require a curtain amount of stats to cover up these nuisance. Dual weapons needs amounts of agility for example, and heavy weapons needs an amount strength. Seems reasonable no?

Under rating threshold (show) really like the game but.. 1. what is the point of training: it would fantastic if you could like upgrade yourself there like upgrad Health Attack Defends and much more. Terrible Coin Collecting System: i dont like the Coin Collecting system that the money just vanish infront of you maybe you could make it like when you kill somone your coins wil automatic goto your inv.

Under rating threshold (show) This game is so underrated. I typically hate button mashing beat em up games like this, but this one manages to be unique. There are a lot of awesome little things it does, like the music getting more intense with each wave, or the nice lighting effects. And with the massive amount of upgrades and enemy types, this REALLY deserves a 4.0 score at the very least.

Under rating threshold (show) I found this fairly poor, most of the game mechanics are solid but the unlock system is tedious and why have replayable levels and nothing to buy, the vanishing coins means as a Gladiator I have to also scrabble around in the sand picking up coins while i get hacked apart which is just ridiculous. The fact that my guy can't seem to swing a sword without stumbling drunkenly forward till he is hacking at the air behind his opponent is frankly embarrassing for us both but despite these issues its a nice game and could be a lot of fun with a few tweaks.

Under rating threshold (show) the flipping / turning mechanic needs to be fixed :P usually you can press the opposite arrow and immediately change directions, but for this game you need to stop moving all together and then press the opposite arrow :(

Under rating threshold (show) Lots of pretty damning complaints, and I don't dispute them one bit. I'll just add one: It's *really easy* to die, and if you can't get through a stage with the weapons and items available to you right then, you're sunk. Never fun. That's the main problem: An easier path should *always* be an option. No questions asked. Give fewer points, give a lower rating, something that acknowledges that its a lesser achievement, fine, but *have* it. Even Namco, arguably the most cold-bloodedly hardcore video game company in history, understands this. Sorry, but there's a difference between legitimate challenge and bad design, and any competent designer knows this. 2/5

Under rating threshold (show) Played until my left hand hurt. Definitely need to be able to customize the keys. Also, the coin magnetism is painfully slow and so is the time it takes for coins to appear from a slain enemy. This is supposed to be a fast-paced action game! 5/5
