Under rating threshold (show) The horse guy in the middle is gaining ZERO when he levels. I just hit level 15 or something, and he actually went DOWN in HP (-3). This has GOT to be a bug of some sort. Hopefully the devs will see this comment and fix, otherwise, a terrific game.

Under rating threshold (show) It's not a problem that the mage is strong -- after all, there's always a strongest hero, and the guards are there to balance it all. The real problem is that the mage is the one with the highest leadership, although she is the one who needs it the less, whereas both the warrior and the horseman need ranged support. That's inconsistent.

Under rating threshold (show) Don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but because the mage is the only char with ranged attack, she kills more and gains more xp, thereby leveling disproportionately. Let the heroes gain xp from their guard kills. This is why my horseman is lvl 31, warrior 37 and mage 46! Not to mention that with my devastating superior scepter she does 58.1 damage/second + 68% chance to crit...why does the only ranged attacker have the best attack?

Under rating threshold (show) Like others have said. Mage can range everything. While in the other lanes, the enemy can range YOUR hero do death and unless you have range present it's over. I basically need to fully fill the other two hero with archer and melee support before putting any additions on the mage. Unbalanced.

Under rating threshold (show) I rarely write comments and this may possibly be my second time doing so here but this game REALLY needs a reworking for the horseman. I have not upgraded or bought my mage anything in about 4 levels (she is holding ~60ish weapons), and yet having the horseman holding THE BEST still causes him to die. The issue I see is whenever a ranged monster attacks him he has no fighting chance unless I get him to gallop...

Under rating threshold (show) There is a major flaw in the game dynamic. If you have lost a wall so that mages cannot be played, and you get a mage, but then have no match 3's left to play, the game does not flush the board, but instead requires you to use the mage you cannot use. At this point the board is no longer playable. I assume the same problem arises with archers as well.

Under rating threshold (show) So, in this country, you have to slide buildings around to empower the city's defenders. In doing so, you destroy those buildings. And, every once in a while, one of the "heroes" will consume dozens of buildings at once. Remind me not to move there.

Under rating threshold (show) Also nice to know a DRAGON can punch THROUGH your Heroes, thus effectively destroying your walls, giving you no victory rating whatsoever, thus forcing you to do the level all over again. Catapults, I can understand because they explode, but last I checked, human beings were physically solid, and thus can not be physically punched THROUGH to hit something BEHIND them.

Under rating threshold (show) Don't worry, I'm sure they'll get those improvements into a second game (that's more a demand than a hint! Make one! Maybe for the XBLA or PSN, or both. STEAM.) I'd like to suggest that after a few level-ups, heroes would unlock more gear slots. Let's say they all start with weapon and basic armor, and every 4 level-ups they'd get another slot until they could each have weapon, secondary weapon (ranged stuff for the boys, and a melee weapon for the lady,) basic armor, headgear, and cloak. Also, I'd like an upgrade system. Let's say you earn prestige based on the rating you get when you clear a battle, and you can use those to buy permanent upgrades to the guards you hire. Like you'd start with level 2 archers instead of level 1, to make it easier to get the more effective guys.

Under rating threshold (show) Either by having too small of a board or the integration of too many possible colors, I often find myself desperately trying to find the few 3-combos that are thinly scattered around. The key to controlling the game was to get 4- and 5- combos, but in most circumstances this was hard; I was disapointed that I couldn't "set them up" to try and reap in the bonuses. solid 4/5 though.

The "RPG" title is offensive sometimes, giving that most of the time you got to WISH to be lucky enough to make a Skill to save your but... Alas, the Knight "Hero" is the WORST of the trio, and I say "Hero" because most of the time you gotta be crazy amout saving his sorry, pathetic, STAT BUGGED ASS !

Under rating threshold (show) Pretty good game. The music and sound effects can get a little annoying after a while, but thankfully that's what the mute button is for. It's a rather interesting mix of genres and I think it has been pulled off rather well. One problem I've been running into (and this is probably just because I can't multitask very well) is that it's hard to keep track of your heroes health bars while working the Switch Grid. I also think you should add health bars above allied and enemy units so we know how much damage we're actually doing. Numbers mean little if we don't have a 'progress bar' so to speak.

Under rating threshold (show) Look for armor that replenishes X HP per second. It will do MUCH more for your hero's survivability than any other defensive buff (i.e. block, HP per match, even +HP in many cases). Put the weapon that does the most damage possible on the Horseman, he needs it. Drop the armor with the biggest leadership possible on the Warrior or you'll be losing walls constantly. Get the Mage some +HP per second armor and she'll be on cruise control.

This wouldn't be so bad if the battlemage, in all her epicness, could help the knight out by firing some bolts into his lane, but apparently her arm doesn't turn in that direction...

Under rating threshold (show) Yeah, I hate to keep harping on the same topic that everyone else keeps harping on too, but did you do ANY playtesting for balance before you released this game? Most of the bags (the wizard's default armor) grant extra healing per match. So the wizard, who hardly ever gets hurt, has the best healing potential. The wizard, who has the lowest need for guards of any of the heroes, has the best leadership. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that the wizard, who is the only hero who lacks a penis, gets to wear the most supportive codpiece. And I don't know how to improve on the mental image of a female wizard wearing a codpiece, so I'll consider my commenting done for now.

Under rating threshold (show) Minion kills should give like 75% xp to the champion in that lane, so it's not counterproductive to try to save melee lanes. And I'm really tired of every fantasy stories scapegoating darkness when evil is what they mean. Darkness has been a comforting part of everyone's sleep that I know. It just means the lack of light.
