Being the Final Fantasy lover I am, I decided to name my dinosaur Cloud and was surprised to find my pet wielding a buster blade. Turns out the creator decided to add an secret costume for using this name. Excellent use of an easter egg.

Great graphics, good music, and great concept, but all the quirks, bugs, and glitches made the game more difficult and frustrating than it should have been. This would have been an awesome game if it was given a little more polish on the gameplay (maybe in a sequel?); as it is, the gameplay really brought it down. 3/5

Checkpoints make games fun instead of frustrating. Since the purpose of games is to have fun, this is very effective for good games. The programmer of this game new that. Unfortunately, he seems to have suffered amnesia part way through the game and forgotten they were a thing. Get well. Remember what checkpoints are. Then add the finishing touches to the game.

I really don't suggest copying 20 @'s and pasting them for 5 minutes, because I crashed the game. However, upon restarting, this is a fairly good game to go into my favourites along with Robot Dinosaurs that Shoot Beams when they Roar.

Agreed with the description being pretentious. As with many other games, touting as "great", "epic", "deep", "impacting" etc etc are just blasphemous for the truly great/epic/deep/impacting games. Let us decide for ourselves if the game should be described as such. In any case... the ending of each level requiring both boy and dino to walk through at the same time is glitchy/confusing. Especially at lava/volcano level where it seems like I'm supposed to make the boy walk through the lava at the same time, which would kill him? Got it to seemingly work once, but that actually sent me back all the way to the beginning of level, and ignored the checkpoint.

its very hard to read the video at the start when you name your dinosaur 'Super Awesome Ultimate Tyrannosaurus Rex Extreme' :P

I would suggest to allow users to change the controls or just use the arrow key alternatively
It's quite useful for people not using qwerty keyboard ;)

I wish I could have gotten to the ending, but the game play was simply too frustrating to continue on. The level with the "Paradise > >" sign, although I bet it was the last, wasn't as much challenging as it was an exercise in pure frustration. Just wish I coulda seen this ending everyone's talking about. :(

Wanna know a secret? Naming your dinosaur certain names gives your dinosaur a new skin. Try naming him Cloud, for instance.

I was not insulting anything. I was saying that I invested a lot of time and effort into these 20 levels, got pulled into the "sad story", and then it ended the way it did... I'm a bit frustrated about that, that's all. But, I suspect the creator intended on having the ending twist have an effect on the gamers, rather than having them say, "Well, just another dinosaur game."
