The Single Player mode should have sandbox options to customize Deck Size, Victory Conditions, AI Difficulty, Available Tricks, Number of Card Suites, etc.
Being able to adjust gameplay in this manner would make Single Player a lot less boring...
Still... aeons ahead of the epitome of boredom that was the classic War card game, from which Pax seems to spin from. Well done!

The game is fun, but the single-player needs some kind of story line. Maybe you start with smaller birds and have to play against tougher and tougher opponents, winning better cards as you go. Would give me a reason to keep playing. The multiplayer is a LOT more fun, simply because you're playing another intelligent being and that makes it harder (in most cases), and it's simply more fun to be playing another human. Shame there aren't enough other players to play multiplayer most of the time =[

The whole energy concept seems needlessly tacked on. Poorly incorporated secondary currency functions stand out in a negative way.

Not a bad game. But it could be much better if you could custom your own decks. Maybe make it so that small classes of birds have more cards so they would also have more bringalongs and just have the bigger birds more powerful. I dont really know how to work it out. But some sort of customization and different play styles would be nice.

Protip for the newbies: I had no idea what was going on the first few games, but you do eventually figure out how this works. It could probably use a better tutorial though...

It's an interesting game but the tutorial is very bad. It doesn't tell you nearly enough to play the game properly so the learning curve is rather steep.

Strategy: use leading as a way to get rid of cards. You don't want to win individual cards, you want to win paxes. Lead with cards from individual, weak families. Accumulate bringalong groups of 2 - 4 birds in the strongest families and wait for a pax or a chance to instigate one. If you can, double the pax. If not, play the weakest winning bird from one of your bringalong groups. This uses your best cards when the stakes are high.

real cool that the developer shows up in the chatroom to answer questions and grant requests! I enjoyed the first Bird Pax a lot and think this one will be even better when it is finished. 5/5

Instead of earning energy over games, make a cap of energy, and make it full every time you start a game.
With the storyline and/or Kreds you can raise the cap of energy at your disposal.

Windows 7, Chrome, stuck at 100% loaded. Can't even get to the menu DX. Still a great game though. If you haven't played Bird Pax 1, you should (It still works).

Anybody else ever hit quintuple pax? I won it with a 4 bird bringalong chain, almost every card in the game was in one of the two piles.

Okay...nice game... never lost to AI since its too easy. I guess its fun to play against others but that fun probably will fade away pretty quickly since there is no depth to this game, very shallow game but still nice. P.S. Bird Pax is very similar to the original playing cards "War" game...

It would be nice if there will be same cards tracking as it was in the first game.Btw, good what you added some tutorial.

Why isn't there a time in the multiplayer game? It's annoying when a player doesn't do anything for about half an hour

I just lost a game -- enemy had one deck left -- because he drew a super pax card. What is the point of such stuff. The first version of the game way good, but the new one sucks. Such games should be transparent and not these surprising and hardly predictable stuff.

The tutorial is one of the best I've seen. short, simple, and it gets the job done. However, I played bird pax 1, so maybe its a bit too short for first time players. You do include instructions though
