This tutorial is a lot better then the dev-centre-link for starters because it goes step-by-step instead of random scaterring across a hundred links, has examples and tells you where to put the almost-chinese texts.
Once it works, then you can try unravel the deeper mysteries. God bless shootorials and this one too.

Hey guys, the API has changed to submit stats you have to go like this:
kongregate.stats.submit ( "Your Stat Name Here", Your variable or number here );

reading both as2 and as3 tutorial at same time, I noticed this as3 one doesnt have the "saving progress and submitting stats" part, which in as2 one is in page 5. :O

My question here is, if u install this on ur game, u always get badges, or u need an overal rating of xx stars or it is needed to played 1000 times or something?

After the Shootorial we have thousands of shooto-like games, after this we will have loots of games with api! I think it is much better... 5/5
