Very cool! The new version worked fine for me, and I really liked playing with different combinations of upgrades. (Hint: the "wrong" upgrades tick off your enemies and make them run faster!) I really like the randomization aspect--it increases the replay value. Man, that "level cleared" buzz is annoying, but otherwise, I really enjoyed it!

I liked it. My exit didn't appear on level 6 the three times I played it (Chrome), but it was fun. Green is my favorite upgrade, loved out the blob changed into a skull with enough green selections.

I think your potential challenge here is that from the user standpoint, it's a bit too long to distinguish between upgrades. And that next level siren...oy, that's annoying. But well executed, and best of luck with LD! 3/5

Please implement Z/Y for jumping, its a pain for the wrists (literally :/ ) to play on a qwertz keyboard. Great game apart from that.

That shooting sound is really annoying!
What's the point in giving us rapid fire when the gun sound is so annoying? O_o

good concept but has some pretty big issues. It was not letting me fire in many cases (while using any gun) and got killed me several times. Fun, but needs some work (I do hope to see a 2nd version.)
