Under rating threshold (show) Alright, I was hoping there was some ending that wasn't quite as bad and depressing...I'm beginning to think not, cause it's like wtf, if you go to work and try to save everyone, your god damn wife kills herself and everyone dies. If you stay home with your family, some dude trys to kill you then freaking kills your whole family instead...dude, I'm depressed a lot of times too, but I can't say I've ever found a medium that's quite as effective at spreading that feeling as this game is.

Under rating threshold (show) i played this on newgrounds and something weird happened. i stayed with my family when it asked me, and the man didnt kill me when i walked to him. i didnt see the defend button. the last day my family wasnt dead; the mother was there sleeping but the daughter was gone. i went to work instead of the park, and i saw flashes of the girl when i entered. i then when upstairs and i saw by the edge "Give Up?" i decided not to and i went to work and sat down. I realized that "giving up" was probably the answer so i tried again here, only this time i saw the defend button and i failed. if someone manages to "give up" on the last day post a comment. i bet the daughter comes out to save you or something.

Under rating threshold (show) This game had some really interesting points, but it has so many bugs it is literally unplayable. Like when you take your daughter to the park the background just goes to white and you can't leave.

Under rating threshold (show) Happy endings are over-rated. The bugs are unfortunate but can be worked out in time. Any medium that engages you and makes you feel anything, good or bad, is something of a success in my book. Nice work!

Under rating threshold (show) If you think it's a bug that the game never restarts, you didn't understand "You only have one chance." If you really want to restart, you can clear your browser cache, but this will also clear all your data on every game on kongregate.

Under rating threshold (show) Sadly , i have to told u guys , that in Kongregate there is no good ending , its buggued , the key to have it , its to work every day , after the wife suicide , dont go to the park , and keep working , and dont party with the chick , just WORK , but only in NewGround this ending does work , if u are frustated like me , go to there and see the "Good" ending , great game , to bad its buggued in kongregate , + so ppl can read this 5 stars

Under rating threshold (show) Hey, you guys don't have to settle with a crappy ending saved on your browser. If you're like me you'd want to keep cookies and other data intact for other games and stuff. I played this game just now, got a crappy ending but I simply deleted cookies from "the past hour" so that I wouldn't have any stored/saved data from this game, now I have more than one chance. This might be helpful for some people.

Under rating threshold (show) I knew from the start it was going to be VERY depressing, I mean, you only have 8 days to save the whole world from destruction. The ending I got *spoiler* was just me and my daughter dying on the bench together, closing our eyes and *boom* we're dead! I actually like that ending, because I at least don't die with much guilt, because at least I didn't cheat on my wife. I love how the game is literally only "One Chance" no more turning back, no more rewinds, no undos, no edits, that's just it! That's really how life is, what you do will be there and you can't erase it no matter what you do, even if you erase it, the guilt will stay with you. Sad, but true. This will go into my favourites, because it teaches people that life doesn't have any reset buttons, and whatever you do, it will be with you for the rest of your life, like scars. 5/5

Under rating threshold (show) The only ''good'' ending is when you're sitting on the bench with your daughter and you both slowly fall into a slumber, a deep eternal slumber... My god, this game is emotional and had me reflecting on my actions and choices afterwards.

Under rating threshold (show) I think I found a glitch. I did the following actions: Work-roof-work-work-park... but when I walk through the park (with Molly on John's back) and go to the other side, the background just turns into a blank canvas and when I walk off the screen nothing happens and the sprite doesn't despawn. I've tried it twice and it happened both times, which sucks because I would really like to see the ending of my initial decisions.

Under rating threshold (show) Great, but disappointing at the same time. While not being able to restart after using up my "one chance" did add increased impact to the ending I got, it also quickly squelched my interest since I cannot explore the other options I had. Maybe make it so the game can be retried after a real life hour or something, so you get a bit more impact out of an ending without making it too uninteresting afterward.

Under rating threshold (show) This is...a pretty eerie game. There's no "happy" ending. The best you get is your wife killing herself, and you taking your daughter to the lab and finally finding the cure...only to be able to save yourself, and your daughter. That's not the ending I got on this computer, and I ended up dying in the lab on the final day after my family was murdered. And no matter how many times you refresh, you're always greeted by your dead avatar.
