Under rating threshold (show) @ Jack As KangarooSexy said, Donkey Kong was Marior's first game. At the time he was called Jump Man, but was named Mario soon after because he looked like somebody's landlord. @ Matt Cain... This is a great quiz, I grew up in the 80s so I know these answers (even on some games I never played but know a lot about). Anyway, what would be nice to see is if you do a Quiz for either each decade (70s, 80s, 90, 2000s) or for each generation of console/portable gaming. :) 4/5

Under rating threshold (show) to jack 1984 donkey kong was older by 2 years but i am sure that the kid was 18 there are no mention of mac'c lisa 2 x-com comadore or any thing that really started it off here's one what what sega's first console extra points if you had one half the questions are based on weather or not you played a game

Under rating threshold (show) Not bad, for the older set. The later questions, however, require knowledge of/experience with consoles and games that were relevant a decade before most current gamers were even born. I would recommend keeping a few of these sorts of questions for the added challenge, but this game seems skewed toward a particular generation of gamer. It could use a broader range of questions, with a more modern feel.

Under rating threshold (show) About 3 questions in, I knew the maker of this quiz had to be about 18 and knew very little of the golden age of video games. By the way, the question about where "Mario first appeared" is incorrect. He first appeared in a stand up console game by the name of "Mario Bros." (which I take it from your age, you have never even seen.)

Under rating threshold (show) Yeah, too many questions about dinosaur fossils. It should be more up-to-date, heavily loaded with GOTY questions about stuff that's popular, and occasionally, maybe 10% questions that are near impossible. You had like 30% unknowns.
