This game would be even better if there was an upgrade shop, a pause button, and possibly more game types- like one with another player on your team. Also, when I played a 2-player game, my achievements reset. Apart from that, a great game: 4/5.

LOL coolest game since... games. It would be better, though, if it was possible to stop the ball if it goes behind you.

Fun game. Maybe add a way to jump higher to make for more interesting games (example; the longer you hold up, the higher you jump).

Thanks for all the nice feedback and good ratings, we'll take it all into account on future Sports Heads games (it was Kongregate feedback on Sports Heads Tennis that made sure we added 2 player mode to this one!)
Just a quick note to everyone saying that this isn't football, but soccer - Mousebreaker is a UK site, run by UK people. As such, it's Football to us, and never, ever Soccer. Sorry!

It's a general good game, but you need to make each player more special. For example - Zidane could headbutt something when a goal agaisnt him is scored. Players need to have advantages and disavantages, like more speed/less shoot power

It'd be great if the 2 player won't reset progress, if playing a match which was already won won't substitute the score and if there was a pause button.

Game doesn't return to menu if you submit at the end. Some things should have been checked before putting the game "out there".

Easily the best football game on Kongregate. Fun Gameplay, dramatic near misses, crazy ricochet goals, it has it all! For future iterations: Let´s pretend it´s the 90´s and there are no roofed stadiums and add different wheather conditions. Add different AI-behaviour for each opponent and special strikes, like sidesweepers and more animations. That would make a freaking great football flash game!

So my oppontent kicked the ball into the small goal powerup and landed it atop my tiny goal, then proceeded to get stuck on top with it. I watched for a while, amused, then suddenly the powerup ran out and the goal returned to normal size WITH THE BALL INSIDE IT. Instant goal against me with nothing I could have done. That was the most incredibly orchestrated goal an AI has ever scored against me. Sir, I am in awe of your craftsmanship! 5/5!

idea: sports heads football world cup. choose your country. choose your players attributes, you get x number of points to spend on some combination of jump height, speed, kick strength and header strength. Then take your team through the group stage and into the knockouts with each country having different ai and skill attributes. +1 if you would love to see this game or give you ideas.
