Under rating threshold (show) Does a great job on a lot of things that other games ignore: music mute, proper hot keys, well laid out tech tree. Love this game. BUT, what possessed you to implement a level cap at 45? I'm half way through the game, and when I realized that, I have a lot less incentive to finish. One other minor thing, some of the skills seem kind of the same i.e. this one gives you extra damage, and oh, this other one gives you, um, even MORE damage. Bit of duplication. Otherwise, lots of great effort went into the game and it shows. Please drop the level cap :-(

Under rating threshold (show) I don't really understand the level cap for balance since the archer is the only one who could use more (6 more to be precise) that would do anything. Anything else would just let you get other attacks instead of maxing out one. Speaking of the archer now that I finished it the mage is poor compared to the archer, and not even as good as the necro. The necro is okay but the archer far surpasses everyone else because of the multiple skills that affect every attack and the auto-debuff shot skill makes it insane. The very first and cheapest archer hero is death incarnate and the mage really suffers from slow spells since he levels slower as well, and no variety. The necro has interesting variety but basically once you max the chaos bolt and supporting talents @ lvl 20ish you can't get any better, if his support skills affected all attacks like the archer's does he'd be comparable but as it is he's just second string to the archer.

Under rating threshold (show) Developer: the unit death is an interesting idea but as several have pointed out it's really awkwardly done since you can't remove or replace a dead unit (yes, I'm aware of the Resurrection spell). Like the level cap, the way it's implemented it doesn't add to the fun, even if you say "it's for balance." Re-think how you treat player feedback. All in all, there's a lot of variety, even with the repeat skills everyone's complaining about, but I'm quitting at Stage 9 (can't say I didn't at least give it a chance).

Under rating threshold (show) NECROMANCER - Sacrifice 1/1(to be dropped after lvl 45), Mysticism 5/5, Dark Devotion 5/5, Chaos Bolt 10/10, Amplify Darkness 5/5, Bone Shield 10/10, Apocalypse 6/10 = Pretty much the only way to build the Necro, Chaos Bolt is the only worthwhile spell, but i put 6/10 in to Apoc because i watch the cool-down and use it when available. A note on Disintegrate and Elemental Suppression. They are just too slow to be useful, you will hit every third slow mob and every 5th fast one. If you want to get the Warlock to lvl 45 very fast then get Sacrifice 1/1 and Shadowbolt 10/10, SB hits much faster and the extra Xp from Sacrifice will add up before you hit stage 12.

Under rating threshold (show) I want to like this game more, but the level cap is a total buzzkill. I'm only at level 10 (which I'm struggling with), and my druid is already level 45. Also leveling in general seems to difficult for the other 3 classes. For some reason I could get my druid to 45 really quickly, but everyone else is stuck in the low 30s and need a lot of battles to gain a level. 3/5 for me. Lots of potential, but the level cap sucks, and some of the mechanics just feel off.

Under rating threshold (show) After getting stuck on the second version, Winter Crown, I decided to start at the beginning. Now I'm stuck here on lvl 10. Wonder why you never took people's advice about an undo button or a sell button. I have put towers down incorrectly and had to start battles completely over. Despite my complaints, I have spent hours playing. Thanks

Under rating threshold (show) DRUID - Cure 10/10, Rejuvenate 3/3, Barkskin 10/10, Twines 3/10, Revive 3/3, Twines 10/10, Spirit of the Forest 7/10 = First, Twines 3/10 is for the sole purpose of giving your Revive the range to hit 2 towers away and is needed badly. Second, after a lot of trial and error Cure seems to be way more useful than the other healing spells, i didn't crunch the numbers i just tested in game and its the only spell that could keep my Mage alive on Stage 12. Druid placement is important always put him where he can heal your front two Character, but never place him in the front.

Under rating threshold (show) Why impose a lvl cap on a single player game - and how is it necessary to impose a level cap for balance reasons? I'm giving this 3/5 instead of 4, for that level cap, since some of us actually enjoy over-grinding earlier on in games like this one ... the level cap forces us to change the way we like to play certain types of games, taking a lot of the fun out of them ...

Under rating threshold (show) lol this game was fun for awhile but once it got t lv 6 it become a bish after that lvls just sky rocketed in diffuculty, lv 45 cap is not needed what so ever since most of these levels are pretty hard after lv 6, i think it would be a great idea if the achievements allowed some sort of effects like builder for eg. the prices of making towers decreases or etc. anyways good game but needs alot of work 3/5

Under rating threshold (show) I like the look and basic concept of this game a lot. Putting heroes into different towers and having a spellbook is great. I'm a sucker for games with skill trees, but as some of the top comments say, the skills are pretty repetitive. Many of the levels dragged on, even with fast forward. Overall a nice game with some annoying flaws and a lot of potential.

Under rating threshold (show) Having the heroes and support units wait for about a second and a half to two seconds before attacking things in their range is a very bad idea. It's an example of fake difficulty. If you wanted to make things harder, all you needed to do is to nerf the tech tree, rather than making the units look like unperceptive idiots. Game needs a lot of work.

Under rating threshold (show) its a good start. the trees need more balancing. And I'm fine with a lvl cap but 45 is too low. to get to the last skill on the archer and max out only the skills on your path you need 55 points.

Under rating threshold (show) ARCHER (in order of first to max)- Composite Bow 5/5, Hardened Arrows-10/10, Quiver 3/3, Fletching 10/10, Arrow 10/10, Metallic Bowstring 5/10 = MachineGun Archer with 25% Phys Reduction. Keep her off the front line past stage 10 of she will die really fast! MAGE - Blizzard 10/10, Icy Veins 10/10, Steam Armor 10/10, Elemental Mastery 5/5, Fireball 5/5, Improved Fireball 2/10 = Blizzard doesn't hit hard but the slow will bunch enemies and give your Archer more time to hit them. Fireball is needed for Ice Immune(they can hurt you a lot if left alive too long ei. Ice Dragon). My Mage tends to be on the front row or second to the Necromancer, his high Ice and Fire Resist make him survive longer Vs. Dragons.

Under rating threshold (show) Excellent attempt, congratulations! A lot of potential. The math of the game nevertheless must be rethought. Leveling, abilities, difficulty and timing, all need corrections. I would really like to see a better version of this approach to the tower defense form.

Under rating threshold (show) What happened between levels 5 and 6?! Level 5, no problem, like the levels before it, pretty easy. Level 6... nope, not a chance. Am I supposed to grind the previous levels to level up my heroes...? At level 6, that doesn't feel like what you expect from a balanced game. Lots of good stuff here, just doesn't quite seem to gel for me.

Under rating threshold (show) an option to control the hero AI would be nice, so we can set them to fire at: first enemy, last enemy, weakest enemy and strongest enemy. Overall a good game 4/5.
