Description
A more true life Idle game, with actions you could take in real life to save money every day! Grow lettuce plants and harvest their leaves to save on buying food. Do it alot! Get through the eleven donation goals and you get to the final bonus points screen and finish the game! Play again to try for an even higher amount of bonus points!
This isn't a massive Idle game - it's a few hours to complete it and get the final pages bonus points.
Note: Oxfam is mentioned in the game so as to promote/advertise for them for free - it's not endorsed by them or anything, though.
How to Play
Mouse clicks for everything. Look for the red 'start here' sign for where to begin. You need to click the craft tray button 90 times to create one tray. Another button unlocks at that point to allow an auto build. Help icons will show additional information as you progress.
Developer Updates
24/October/2014 : Fixed some bugs. For the time being if the auto harvest bug has halted your game the reset button is available. Click on it five times in 2 seconds (just click it a lot!) and everything resets! Stencyl is strange when it works with fractions, so for some reason the 0.2 harvest rate was not being detected properly. Hopefully that is now corrected!

After 10 minutes I still don't get how this work. I've done many things and I see no advancement. Is that normal? You just click random stuff you can, but you don't actually know what does the text there means, or how it affects the gameplay.
Did you save up and get the auto harvest? At that point as an Idle game you can leave it to self harvest or buy auto build (which improves harvest cooldown rate) or build manually.

What is choco boost for?
When clicked it grants one lettuce per second, per cent of choco boost (if you have $0.50 or more cocho boost). It also recharges slowly, one cent every five harvests. It's an aid to karma boosts, allowing some rapid increase in lettuce owned (and so improving harvest rates).

this games really fun maybe a prestige system?
Thanks, Stephenmans! I was thinking perhaps on restarting keeping some amount of previously gained savings, a larger amount on each replay. This would boost each new replay and getting them started off all the sooner. Otherwise I'm not super familiar with prestige systems in other idle games.

minor issue: Endgame triggers on 10th upgrade, making the 11th unbuyable.

Seriously, i think this need a visual upgrade , some more interest and NO COOLDOWN FOR BUYS ~
The cooldown on auto harvest is a bit of a hangover from a previous design iteration. I'm not sure it's needed now so I'll look into whether it can be removed.
