a good idea, but a little too complex for the average person to pick up and play. If you had an easier "tutorial" style mode to ease people into the idea of controlling two ships at once, it would be much better.

since you can't die when the meter is refilling from an early death, sticking yourself in the walls makes you invulnerable 2/5 for concept alone

so... is this a two person game... or are you sposed to use both hands to make sure two things arne't touched? thats ingtresting.

Very creative concept, however, I wish the shooting aspect were a bit more polished. The bullets are slow and you can't control which ship shoots them, they alternate, which gets annoying and confusing more than it should. Good game, but it can use some more updates to make it great.

neat one, but my keyboard doesnt even seem to accept space+s+k at the same time, also the bullets are annoyingly slow, maybe it'd help a bit if you could 'lock' autofire, or perhaps if you could 'charge' the shot to go faster, it would make it more interesting, now hitting stuff is more random for me then skill

The glitch I'm talking about is just slamming the edge constantly. The game will deduct a life and will not deduct any more until the side has returned to 100 health and then goes back down to zero.

A couple of things. The music randomly deciding when to go on and off is really annoying.. The is a glitch that you can abuse to beat easy while holding down two keys. You can use the same glitch to play hard mode and only dodge with one side.

Do'h! Forgot the review. The idea of controlling two entities at once is very good, and you have a good base for that concept. The control itself isn't absolutely great. For example, If I wanted to move both ships in a diagonal motion at the same time, I'm pressing 4 buttons, one more than most keyboards accept. If you could change the right ship's control into arrows or a keypad, you could bypass the limit. Also, I'm not too thrilled with the "N3wton"-esque projectiles (hold fire for a faster shot). Maybe a form of autofire or at least a fixed speed would help becuase you are already asking the player to control 4 different things at once, being the left ship, the right ship, shot direction, and shot speed. Most sucessful games of the 2d shooting style (as far as I can tell) max out at 3 multitasking elements (usually aim, movement, and fire). If you could only integrate one of these two, I'd like the game better.

I can really see this working with DualShock pads, using shoulder buttons to fire. But, with a keyboard, It's frankly unplayable. Sorry.

Ah, I see, you have to actually move both ships onto the start button of the level. I guess it payed off that I played around to find that, but that's a very poor design that most people won't get.
