I really like this kind of game and enjoy the style but there needs to be more description of how the controls work. I cannot figure out what the optimal time to hit the spacebar is, or if I should hit it multiple times, or hold it down. Each time I get a random amount of height and bend in the poll even if I press space at a similar place.

This feels just a bit too random to be fun unfortunately. I wonder if the developer could tune the powerups a little bit to make your jumps longer and longer as you play more and more. Also slowing down the speed that you move past the power ups, like if they were falling with you, rather than stuck in the same place would add some skill to grabbing them.
