Hints for the hard badge: 1. Save the bonus points and get the anti-matter shield ASAP (lv 15); 2. Save as much money as you can: with the shield you don't really have to worry about your health or damage output; 3. Get offensive bonus upgrades (EMP, fireball, explosion); 4. Be patient. + if it helps

it seems like a small thing, but it's kinda annoying that you have to wait 5 seconds to retry a level when you get a game over

Oh and when you do get to Level 40, it's not Dodgeball anymore because you will be bouncing back alot of shots while catching and throwing them too. So call it Dodgeminton.

"commander, the enemy has some kind of crazy tank bullet reflector should we find another method of attacking?". "No just send bigger tanks".

Ever notice that the enemy could defeat your side's entire strategy by simply walking up to your base without firing and (assuming they could get past the shield) planting explosives or just sieging your base?

Sergeant - Dammit sir, we're throwing everything we've got at that base, but they just keep destroying us with our own ammunition!!
General - KEEP FIRING SOLDIER!!!
Haaahahahaha >.<

The strategy for beating this game is actually fairly simple. Buy one energy infuser after the first level, then stop spending your money except for repairs until any level ending in 9. Put all your bonus points into investment. On any boss level (ending in 9) buy 3 or 4 infusers and a couple of shield bounces. You should be able to take out the boss with at least a minute left to spare. If you're having trouble dying, buy the energy shield and a couple of cells for it. By level 30, you should have level 9 bounce and infuser with around 400,000 to get interest on, and be getting 200,000 interest every turn. More if you're not on general

you'd think for at some point of having spent hundreds of thousands of dollars, you could have bought yourself a weapon of some sort.

To addon - After level 40 or so it gets EXTREMELY more difficult. Be ready for that - also, I tried to take out the ballistics tanks first, although 40+ levels you really can't choose what to hit.

The game is good.. Although on General I could only beat the first boss, all of the rest it timed out when I was fighting them. And once I got to about 43, I spent so many hours getting up to 49, just because how hard this game is. :S

"Hmmmm....we can make an indestructible shield around our base, commander." "Well, that's no good. put the shield around only part of the base, so that our general has something to do"

the final battle summary
for the tank who spammed the rockets mindlessly it was the day of his pathethic defat and shame where he was discharged mishonorly, but for the general camping behind the shield,it was tuesday

@eftyen - It's called 'SAVE GAME' you moron. Also, I found a glitch - base was shaking from being hit so a couple of projectiles went right past my shield. Not so helpful.

I am disgruntled by the fact that getting the badge for 10000 pts on "Captain" difficulty does not also give you the badge for getting 10000 pts on the easier "Sergeant" difficulty.

The best bonus upgrade is the Antimatter Shield, you can literally win levels by just stalling until time runs out. LEVEL 1: after you beat it, buy the first level of E-I. Save up you money until the third level and buy another E-I. By level ten you should have three levels of E-I, one level of S-B (shield bounce), and the Sticky Shield. What not many people know is that you get EXTRA BONUS UPGRADE POINTS for defeating the boss tank! If you defeated the boss tank you should have five bonus upgrade points saved up. Spend them on the Antimatter Shield, and wait five more levels to get Heatseekers. ALWAYS KEEP LOTS OF MONEY IN RESERVE, you will need the interest gained from stockpiling it. The further you go, the more E-I you should buy. The other cash upgrades aren't very important.
Give this a plus up if you get a hard badge from following this guide!

"General difficulty" badge is very easy to get.
All the bonus points spend to investment, till it'll be 50%. After it buy Heatseeker and Antimatter shield. Remember that all bosses should be killed in order to get 3additional bonus points per each boss.
Spend money to Energy Infuser, Shield Bounce. Buy Sticky shield as soon as possible. Than buy static shield. Remember: spend money only when enemies is hard to kill, don't spend them every turn. And you'll reach 50 lvl with a lot of mlns $ in your pocket.
As for me, after finishing 49th lvl I had 182067143 and as a result 50th lvl appeared very easy :)
