Description
A timeless samurai must cut his way through a soulless army of steel to earn his freedom.
So are you ready to kick some ass, Kongregate?
I created this game in an attempt to bring the stylish, fluid, intense action of games like Devil May Cry back into 2D brawlers. It uses an innovate new control scheme where special attacks are done by drawing slashes across the screen with the mouse, allowing you to rapidly dash, launch, and smash your way through the levels.
Hopefully you'll gel with it as much as I have. If not: a thousand apologies. I tried. :)
If you have trouble accidentally dashing around, remember you DON'T need to click on the enemies, you can just hold your hand steady and click anywhere.
How to Play
WASD or Arrow Keys to move, Spacebar to jump, Click to Attack, Click+Drag for specials.

Great game,
it`s a shame that half of the upgrades are not available at kongregate.

That was really fun! And I'm not usually a fan of side-scrolling button-mashing "action platformer" games. Was anyone else reminded of "Samurai Jack" at all? Also loved the Hong-Kong-cinema-wire-fu effect when you jumped up for an attack and just kept attacking. Great art & character designs, too.

very well made game. The gameplay is unique and fun, the art styles is very cool, and the animation is very fluid. The gameplay is effective and simple. Although it may perhaps be too simple and it might get repetitive for a longer game, it works well for something short like this. The simple textured backgrounds are very stylized and cool looking. The 3-D aspects are also very well done and blend quite nicely with the rest of the art due to their toon style. Overall a very well made game. Though I think it would be very cool to see a longer sequel with some more game mechanics to mix things up and perhaps a story line.

Waaaah! Lizards in cyber-pants! Helicopter ladies! Skelletons with Slipknot masks! *Runnsaway*
And the giant Lion's 3D animation at the beginning is great! :D
